After facing crisis, "River Where the Moon Rises" cast and crew remain standing and sturdy to produce high quality content for the viewers. And after all, aside from its expensive production, the drama also stars fresh but truly talented actors.

Lee Ji Hoon, 32, who is currently portrays the role of General Go Gun, has been captivating hearts with his deep voice and strong presence onscreen.

Getting to Know Lee Ji Hoon

The Korean actor was born on October 29,1988. He started to appear in "School 2013" and later on continued to be part of various drama projects.

Before he became part of "River Where the Moon Rises," Lee Ji Hoon already proved he is more than just a pretty face. He's a flawless actor, whatever the genre is, because it's his forte to make the audience feel his character.

Lee Ji Hoon is also in the same talent agency with actor Kang Haneul, TH Company.

In 2020, he played as Jung Jae Hyeok in MBC's "Dinner Mate," alongside actors Song Seung Heon and Seo Ji Hye.

In 2019, he portrayed the role of charismatic and fierce Lee Jae Hun in "Woman of 9.9 Billion."

Lee Ji Hoon also worked with Shin Se Kyung and ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo in the romance-historical drama "Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung."

Lee Ji Hoon Gives Viewers the "Second Lead Syndrome"

Lee Ji Hoon often plays the role of the second lead guy. From "Dinner Mate" to "River Where the Moon Rises," his character as Go Gun in the latter has an unrequited love for Pyeonggang (Kim So Hyun) and it indeed broke the viewers' hearts upon seeing the actor's character's feelings unreciprocated by the princess.
