"Sisyphus: The Myth" has showcased unexpected twists and turns as the JTBC drama nears its season finale.

Despite the sudden drop of its rating and hitting the lowest viewership with only 4.435 percent as compared to it's last week's 4.804 percent, the sci-fi action series managed to pique the interest of the public with the intriguing story between Han Tae-Sul and Gang Seo-Hae, played by Cho Seung-Woo and Park Shin-Hye, against the devious Sigma.

Sigma's Background

In the previous episode, Han Tae-Sul gets the leverage over Sigma as he tries to put fate into his own hands.

The drama continues as "Sisyphus: The Myth" episode 15 shows the former CEO fight back Sigma by igniting his frustrations and feeding him with his insecurities.

The scene flashbacks to Sigma, a.k.a Seo Won-Ju, the painter, who experienced being belittled by the people around him.

In the latest episode, Seo Won-Ju escaped from Gang Seo-Hae by hailing a cab and instructing the driver to go to the police station.

There, the amateur painter caused a commotion by barging at the station, saying that the then Quantum and Time CEO shot him. On the other hand, the taxi driver walks him and scolds him for not paying his fare.

Despite his claims that Tae- Sul is trying to kill him, the officer thinks he was just making up stories and even called him a lunatic.

The scene transitioned in the future, where Seo Won-Ju attempts to kill himself by hanging. Fortunately, the roof collapsed as the nuclear blast hit his home. He survived by sealing the windows that kept him away from the radiation.

Choi Jae-Sun's Sacrifice

"Sisyphus: The Myth" episode 15 presents a heartbreaking scene between Gang Seo-Hae and Choi Jae-Sun.

With his deal with Sigma, Choi Jae-Sun tries to find Gang Seo-Hae with a goal in mind for her to leave Han Tae-Sul and go with him to the US.

At the time, he remembered that she mentioned something about a bunker that serves as their home. Choi Jae-Sun traced it and saw a box-type shelter in the middle of the city and found Gang Seo-Hae and left the bunker.

At the car, she asked Choi Jae-Sun where they were headed, to which he answered to the airport. He tried to pursue her to come to the US, but she declined. She explained that Han Tae-Sul needs her and he can't fight Sigma alone.

There, he decided to help Gang Seo-Hae instead of following his family.

Unfortunately, he ended up dying in her arms after shielding her from Jung Hyeon-Gi's attack.

The Revelation

"Sisyphus: The Myth" episode 15 also highlighted how powerful Sigma is.

At the church, he meets Han Tae-Sul and talks about finishing the coding for the Uploader. Of course, he opposed his request and mentioned that he would not do it; however, Sigma claims that Gang Seo-Hae will soon come and will be shot by his men.

Later, a series of gunshots were heard. His men thought that Gang Seo-Hae was outside, only to find out that she was dressed as one of his men and took them all out one by one.

With one option left, Sigma held Tae-Sul at gunpoint. He told her how impressed he was to see Gang Seo-Hae saving a man.

He then teased her by telling him to shoot him because this will be her only chance; however, she does not want to risk hurting the former CEO.

At the time, Sigma revealed that it was all his plan, including bringing them together and establishing feelings for one another.

He mentioned that he controlled everyone's fate and has planned everything from beginning to end.
