The Mysterious Death of Professor Seo Byung Ju

"Law School" episode 1 starts off dated October 2020 with an intense scene as one student saw a lifeless professor Seo Byung Ju (Ahn Nae Sang) inside his office at the elite Hankuk University.

The scene jumps off to March 2020 as professor Yang Jong Hoon (Kim Myung Min), who is a former prosecutor and known as a straightforward professor, carries on his lecture.

A first-year law student named Han Joon Hwi (Kim Beom), who is the top of his class, managed to wow the crowd with his interpretation of the case.

However, it appears that the professor was unimpressed with him and advised him not to take opportunities for other students to answer.

On the other hand, Kang Sol-A was also asked by Yang Jong Hoon but was too nervous to argue her case and ended up leaving the class.

With Professor Seo's death, this has caused a disturbance in the university, and as the investigation continues, Lee Man Ho's name is being dragged. Played by Jo Jae Ryong, he was recently released from prison after being convicted as a child rapist.

To recall, it was Kim Eun Suk who was then the judge was responsible for his case. Unfortunatley, she lost the case to Lee Man Ho after being only sentenced to 11 years.

On the present day, it showed that he visited Kim Eun Su, who is now a law professor at Hankuk University. He barged in her class and discussed Article 10-2 of the Criminal code, or known as the Lee Man Ho Act.

Kim Eun Suk was surprised by Lee Man Ho's return which caused her intense emotions and ended up bleeding, given that she's also pregnant.

While the student rushed her to the hospital, Yang Jong Hoon remained in the classroom with his furious eyes gazing at Lee Man Ho.

Yang Jong Hoon Arrested for Killing Professor Seo

Another surprising news circulated the school as the dead professor was reportedly a drug addict. It came after drugs had been found in his car.

During the student's mock trial, the police barge in and explain that the late professor was killed through methamphetamine overdose and believes that someone mixed this in his coffee and gave it to him.

Following this, the officer's prime suspect was the professor and ended up handcuffing and arresting Yang Jong Hoon.

A flashback also showed that Yang Jong Hoon is killing professor Seo inside his office.
