The original K-wave drama idol, Lee Young Ae, is so famous, she only does one major drama every 10 years and yet, never lost her name, fame, or A-game. Another thing she does not seem to lose? Her youthful glow.

At 50, she can easily pass off as half her age, or compete with stars in their 20s.

Lee Young Ae married Jung Ho Young in 2009, and gave birth to fraternal twins, Seung Bin and Seung Kwon in 2011. The kids are probably 11 now, But the stresses that go into motherhood certainly did not go into the actress' face.

That said, women certainly would like to find out her skincare routine. Having a youthful glow at a certain age is certainly a treasure to seek and have, and if Lee Young Ae can impart her secret, then women will be all ears.

She did not exactly say, but one can surmise that her glow comes from "Lyanature" products.

This brand is her own brainchild that specialises in botanical skincare.

Everyone knows Young Ae is a huge advocate of clean beauty and uses only pure plant products on her face and body.
She once said that to get her flawless complexion, it is best that the Lyanature oil be warmed first by had before being pressed into the skin.

Lee Young Ae Remains a Houshold Name Despite Doing 1-2 Projects Per Decade

It was in 2003 that Lee Young Ae became a household name, not just in South Korea, but also in other parts of the world that had gotten caught in the K-drama wave.

She played Jang Geum in the mash hit "Jewel In the Palace," which can be described the show that actually had people wishing they can see Korea - at a time when Hollywood series and sometimes Taiwanese shows were in the rage.

Suddenly, everyone imagine themselves wearing hanboks too, thanks to Lee Young Ae's perfect portrayal of her character - sometimes funny, usually pitiful, but always pretty and inspiring.

On that decade, she also did "Lady Vengeance," a movie shown in 2015 and then laid low. Not because she did something wrong or was hiding, but simply because it's her style. She took a 12-year hiatus and then resurfaced in 2017's "Samdang, Memoir of Colors," another hit.

She then took some break and did "Bring Me Home" in 2019.

Years have passed since then, and people remain in love with her and wishing she'll return with a new show soon. She looks great at 50 and can certainly compete with the younger stars. She does not look like a day older than 25, and she has kids, too.

What she's active on, however, is donating and doing charity works. She recently donated 100 million won for those affected with the COVID-19.

Earlier on, she also donated $50,000 to two soldiers who suffered grave injuries due to North Korean box mines. For sure, there are many more other similar instances that did not make it to the news.
