JTBC gave viewers a sneak peek at their upcoming Korean drama "Nevertheless," starring Song Kang and Han So Hee.

The broadcasting network released the behind-the-scenes video during their socially distanced script reading, where cast members and crew observes COVID-19 protocols.

Aside from the two, the "Nevertheless" script reading was also attended by Chae Jong Hyeop, Lee Yul Eum, Kim Min Gwi, Yang Hye Ji, Yoon Seo Ah, and Lee Ho Jung.

Song Kang and Han So Hee Introduced Their Characters

The "Navillera" star and the 26-year-old actress start by introducing their characters - Park Jae Uhn and Yoo Na Bi.

At the table read, Han So Hee explains that Yoo Na Bi is someone who had a bitter experience in love. Hence, she became doubtful and didn't believe in love and even destiny.

Interestingly, all this changed when she met Park Jae Uhn.

As for Song Kang's "Nevertheless" role, he thinks that dating is such a waste of time.

Moreover, he is described as someone who is the master of "push and pull" but doesn't get easily caught up with his emotions despite being friendly towards others.

Park Jae Uhn also has created a wall that separates himself and other people and doesn't really show how he feels inside.

Kdrama "Nevertheless" will show the duo's connection despite their different outlook towards life and love.

During the session, the "Sweet Home" actor went to interpret Park Jae Uhn's complex personality saying, "He enjoys these advantages, but then he meets Yoo Na Bi and starts to change."

"Nevertheless" Cast Shares Thoughts on Upcoming Kdrama "Nevertheless"

Wrapping off the table read, the 27-year-old actor, who was dubbed as the "son of Netflix," revealed that because of the popularity of the original webtoon, he admitted that he felt pressure to portray the character.

On the other hand, "The World of Married" star says that she's thrilled to be part of the drama since she is a webtoon fan.

As for the duo's working relationship with their co-stars, Song Kang shared that he had a good time with fellow actors, adding, "It's been a long time since I worked with colleagues of the same age, so I had fun."

Meanwhile, Han So Hee hopes that everyone will be "safe and healthy until the end of filming."

JTBC Drops Main Poster Starring Han So Hee and Song Kang

Following the behind-the-scenes table read, JTBC unveiled a captivating main poster featuring the two main stars.

In the official poster, both actors gazed straight into the camera as Song Kang leaned on Han So Hee's shoulder.

The "Nevertheless" main poster also focuses on the romance between the two as their hands were seen intertwine alongside the caption that reads "Hyperrealistic romance."

As mentioned above, "Nevertheless" is based on the famous webtoon of the same name.

Furthermore, the JTBC's soon-to-be-released drama is helmed by Kim Ga Ram, whose famous work includes "Devilish Joy" and "Vampire Detective," together with screenwriter Jung Won.

Song Kang and Han So Hee's upcoming drama will be released on July 19 and slated to air every Saturday on JTBC and Netflix.
