Netflix continues to give viewers a glimpse of the much-awaited K-sitcom "So Not Worth It," starring GOT7's Youngjae, (G) I-DLE's Minnie, Park Se Wan, Shin Hyun Seung, and more.

In a new teaser video, the streaming giant showed a sneak peek through a hilarious yet exciting behind the scenes that would pique viewers' interest.

Helmed by Kwon Ik Joon and Kim Jung Shik, whose famous works include hit sitcoms "Nonstop" and "Smashing on Your Back," they spoke about creating a youth-oriented program that centers around the diverse group of university students.

PD Kwon Ik Joon shares that "So Not Worth It" follows the story of young people's lives and how they enjoy and live like there's no tomorrow.

In addition, the forthcoming Netflix sitcom highlights the quality of "loving yourself" and "having no regrets."

As for their working relationship with the young actors, "So Not Worth It" director considers that he is "lucky" to be working alongside these stars.

He lauded the chemistry of the five lead stars despite their different personalities, culture, and backgrounds which is a key to having a great sitcom.

Meanwhile, PD Kim Jung Shik shares more on the technical side and even described "So Not Worth It" as a masterpiece created by the whole team.

"We have applied different styles to make it a well-made masterpiece," he mentioned.

Apart from the fun-filled laughter and feel-good vibe, the directors also hope that the Netflix sitcom represents the beauty and diversity of the Korean culture.

"I hope this show becomes the one that represents Korea, and people everywhere love it."

The veteran sitcom directors spoke about each actor and their respective characters.

PD Kwon Ik Joon revealed that he was surprised with (G) I-DLE's Minnie and GOT7's Youngjae stage presence, given that "So Not Worth It" is their first major on-screen project.

"Their acting are very natural even though it was their first time," he explained, adding, "Their natural color came out."

In the upcoming Netflix sitcom, the girl group member, whose real name is Nicha Yontararak, plays a Thai student named Minnie who is fond of K-culture and tries to learn the language through K-dramas.

On the other hand, GOT7's Youngjae portrays Sam, who came from a wealthy family and grew up in Australia. He is also known as the life of the party of the group.

"So Not Worth It" Cast Members Shares Thoughts on the New Netflix Sitcom

In the video teaser, Han Hyun Min, who plays foreign cosplayer Hyun Min, says that he is "honored" to work with the production team who have made legendary sitcoms that he and his mother used to watch.

Moreover, Park Se Wan also expressed her gratitude to the team for their support and trust, adding, "I was able to gain confidence and interpret this character."

The 26-year-old actress plays the teacher assistant named Se Wan and is also the person who is manning the university dorm.

"So Not Worth It" is set to premiere on June 18 every Friday, exclusively on Netflix.
