The cast of "Reply 1994" promise to make an appearance around the streets of Seoul if they get higher ratings for the show.
On their Twitter accounts, the cast posted promises to their fans in exchange for their support. They are seen wearing the clothes from their 2013 scenes. Go Ara, who plays the role of Na Jung, promised to send in some cherished possessions, while Jung Woo and Yoo Yeon Suk, who portray Garbage and Chil Bong, respectively, promised to give out free hugs in Myungdong if they exceed the rating of 10%.
Tiny G's Do Hee, who plays the role of Yoon Jin, also promised free hugs for people in Myungdong if they reach 7%, while Kim Sung Hyun and Son Ho Jun, who portray Sam Chun Po and Haitai, promised to show up in Myungdong if the show exceeds the rating of 10%. The whole cast promised giveaways if the show reaches the rating of 17%.
Netizens posted comments such as, "I hope the ratings go up 10% because of these promises," "Free hugs from Do Hee!" and "It would be better if they do it in a group," proving the popularity of the series.
For the most recent episode, the show has already reached the average rating of 7.1% while it peaked at 8.6%. At the rate things are going, it won't be surprise if we see cast members walking around Myungdong soon.
