If she decides to accept the offer, she will star opposite Na In Woo and play the role of the goddess of luck, Lee Seul Bi.

This will be her return to K-drama, eight months after wrapping up the thriller crime series "Private Lives" with Go Kyung Pyo, Kim Hyo Jin, and more.

Meanwhile, the "River Where the Moon Rises" actor, who previously confirmed his appearance in the forthcoming fantasy drama, is set to take on the role of Gong Soo Kwang.

"The Jinx's Lover" Synopsis

Based on the webtoon of the same name, the soon-to-be-released K-drama "The Jinx's Lover" will be helmed by director Yoon Sang Ho and penned by "Island" screenwriter Jang Yoon Mi.

Following the possibility of Seohyun joining the upcoming series, the forthcoming drama is slated to begin filming in the second half of this year, while the target date premiere is still under discussion.

"The Jinx's Lover" follows the story of Gong Soo Kwang, who is caught up in an unlucky fate.

Fortunately, everything changed when he met the goddess Lee Seul Bi.

Girls' Generation's Seohyun Upcoming Movies

Aside from her comeback with the webtoon-based drama, the Girls' Generation member is booked and busy this year with her back-to-back movies.

The 30-year-old singer-actress recently confirmed her appearance in the upcoming film "Holy Night: Demon Hunters" alongside fellow lead stars Ma Dong Seok and "Law School" actor Lee David.

In addition, the trio will be joined by Kyung Soo Jin and "Imitation" star Jeong Ji So.

Seohyun is set to play Sharon, who is a member of the "holy night" team. Her ability is to identify evils from humans and has the power to perform an exorcism.

On the other hand, the "Train to Busan" star is set to take on the group leader, named Ba Woo, the evil hunter who uses his muscular physique and incredible strength to fend off the demons.

The girl group member shared the news on her social media and expressed her excitement over her new project.

"The Holy Night: Demon hunters. It's an honor to be with you as Sharon. Please look forward to the movie," Seohyun's Instagram caption reads, followed by a collage photo featuring her co-stars.

Prior to confirming her new film, the singer-actress accepted the offer to appear in the upcoming romance movie "Moral Sense."

Back in March, Netflix Korea announced that Girls' Generation's Seohyun and Lee Jun Young are set to lead the cast of the webtoon-based film.

The 30-year-old South Korean beauty will portray the role of Jung Ji Hoo, who is described as a blunt and straightforward person but was adored by his female co-workers.
