Watching different genres of K-dramas make viewers amused everytime the characters give a wide range of advice when it comes to dating, and they stick in our minds but doesn't really apply in real life.

These are the types of dating advice, according to your favorite K-drama characters.

Overconfident Friend

That K-drama characters, which is mostly the close friend of the protagonist, is the one who is overconfident in giving advice. Just like in the 2017 series "Hit the Top," when Yoo Hyun Jae (Yoon Si Yoon) said to Lee Ji Hoon (Kim Min Jae) that using subtle physical contact is a must, what makes it funny is how he demonstrates the gesture to Lee Ji Hoon.

Making it on the list is the iconic but smooth advice from Kim Bok Joo's (Lee Sung Kyung) friend, Jung Nan Hee (Cho Hye Jung). The famous "Do You Like Messi?" line became a trademark for this series, for it is a good tip to know if the two persons share the same interests.

The One with No Experience

From being overconfident to having no experience at all. These scenes can be found in the hit 2016 fantasy series "Goblin." It was when Kim Shin (Gong Yoo) shared to the Grim Reaper (Lee Dong Wook) that he almost cried in front of Ji Eun Tak (Kim Go Eun), on the other hand, Grim Reaper was quick to give Kim Shin sermon and said that most women like those men who are blunt and confidently said that it was a game over already.


But Kim Shin found out that the Grim Reaper doesn't also have experience when it comes to serious relationships. Their bromance and bickering moments stood out the most!

Same as with the Korean drama remake of "A Love So Beautiful," when Shin Sol Ih (So Ju Yeon) asked Jeong Jin Hwan what to write on her love letter. She was amazed at the sweet and cheesy lines she got from her friend, not until Cha Heon (Kim Yo Han), Shin Sol Ih's crush, said that the message she composed was from the lyrics of a song.

The Supportive One

Good boy Han Ji Pyeong (Kim Seon Ho) in the hit drama "Start-Up" is one of the supportive friends you'll ever have. Even though he has secret feelings for Seo Dal Mi (Bae Suzy), he fairly helps Nam Do San (Nam Joo Hyuk) in reaching her out.

K-drama Based Advices

When you are too addicted to K-dramas, you tend to follow the advice you've watched. Just like in tvN's record-breaking series "Crash Landing on You," Kim Ju Meok (Yoo Su Bin) is a certified K-drama addict, and his advice to Captain Ri Jeong Hyeok (Hyun Bin) were all from the series he watched. The iconic finger hearts, where he explained that when a person gestures a finger heart, it means that person wants to give you his/her heart.
