Lee Je Hoon has been making significant buzz online due to his performance in the top rating K-drama "Taxi Driver."

Arguably one of the beloved South Korean stars, the 37-year-old actor has been giving the audience remarkable dramas and movies since his debut--one of which is his latest SBS series.

It follows the story of a former special forces officer named Kim Do Ki, who turns into a secret vigilante crime fighter alongside the Rainbow Taxi CEO Jang Sung Chul, played by Kim Eui Sung, as well as Pyo Ye Jin, Jang Hyuk Jin, and Bae Yoo Ram.

The group's goal is to avenge the victims whom the law failed to protect.

On the other hand, what makes the drama interesting is that it tackles social issues like bullying, harassment, fraud and is reportedly based on real-life cases.

Following the successful finale back on May 29, Studio S, the production company that handles the SBS series, confirmed that Lee Je Hoon's drama is set to return for season 2.

Although the upcoming sequel is still in the early stages of outlining the production, including the cast members' schedule, the company revealed that they plan to release the new season sometime in 2022.

This means that fans can get to see Kim Do Ki and the rest of the Rainbow Taxi team as they plan out their grand revenge scheme against the evil guys.

Fashion King (2012)

After his acting debut in 2007, he appeared in several supporting roles but eventually starred in his first-ever lead role for the melodrama "Fashion King."

Kang Young Gul (Yoo Ah In) owns a humble stall at the Dongdaemun Market.

Meanwhile, Lee Je Hoon plays the role of a second-generation chaebol and was involved in a love triangle between Kang Young Gul and Lee Ga Young (Shin Se Kyung.)

Signal (2016)

Lee Je Hoon is no amateur when it comes to notable crime thriller dramas, including "Signal" with A-listers Kim Hye Soo and Jo Jin Woong.

In the 2016 drama, he portrays Park Hae Yeong, a young criminal profiler who mysteriously interacts with Detective Lee Jae Han (Choi Jin Woong) through a walkie-talkie.

The two police officers try to solve unclosed cases and attempt to prevent crime by using the device despite living in a different time.

"Tomorrow With You" (2017)

Another melodrama starring the South Korean heartthrob is "Tomorrow With You," where he took the role of a wealthy real estate CEO Yoo So Joon.

Interestingly, after surviving the subway explosion, he managed to go back and forth in time after gaining the ability to time travel.

With his capability, he sees that his future has an unhappy and tormented life; however, he chose to change this by marrying the bubbly photographer Song Ma Rin (Shin Min Ah.)

"Where the Stars Land" (2018)

Lee Je Hoon took home the Best Actor Award in the 2018 SBS Drama Awards through the rom-com series "Where the Stars Land."

The K-drama illustrates the lives of employees working at the Incheon International Airport, showing off the challenges they faced every day.

In the SBS drama, the 37-year-old actor took on the role of a passenger services member named Lee Soo Yeon and is described as someone who wants nothing but to be ordinary.

With his mysterious and aloof persona lies a secret that prompted him to distance himself from everyone

"Move to Heaven"

Another well-loved Lee Je Hoon drama is Netflix's "Move to Heaven" alongside Tang Jun Sang and "Navillera" actress Hong Seung He.

It follows the story of a young man named Han Geu Roo, who was diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome.

After his father passed away, he opted to continue their business of arranging items left by deceased people--to which they called "Move to Heaven."

One day, his uncle Cho Sang Gu, a former martial artist and ex-con, played by Lee Je Hoon, showed up as his guardian. Despite his tough appearance, Geu Roo believed that he has a good heart.

As Sang Gu witnessed his dedication to his father's legacy, he then realized what "Move to heaven" meant for Geu Roo.
