Having years of binge-watching, you have already seen and heard these words. And hearing it from your favorite K-drama characters makes it more entertaining and easy to learn.

Let's recall some of the iconic ways to deliver such catchy and fun Korean words. This is how you learn the K-lingo in a funny and creative way!

Jagiya

When watching rom-com genres, this word has been used repeatedly. Jagiya is an endearment that means "honey" or "darling."

Omo

An expression that is very prominent to almost both of the K-drama characters and K-drama fans. Instead of saying "Oh My!" it was already simplified into the word "Omo!"

Oppa

Every K-drama fan knows this and has been enjoying using the word "Oppa." This is a Korean word that female individuals use to call their boyfriend or a guy who is older than her. You may or may not be blood-related, but this word is often used to show closeness and is also considered endearing.

These days fans use "Oppa" as an endearment to their favorite idols or celebrities.

Ji Sung's character as Cha Do Hyun in the drama "Kill Me, Heal Me" is one of the funniest roles that has been loved by the viewers. Especially in the scene where he called Park Seo Joon "Oppa."

The words Micheoseo "Are you crazy?" Jinjja "Really?/!" Daebak! "Awesome!" and Saranghae "I Love You" are also common words that you can encounter while watching Korean content, may it be in dramas, TV shows, or even in K-pop songs and videos.
