SBS clears the reports regarding the possibility of extending the top rating K-drama "Penthouse 3."
According to Xports News, a representative from SBS set the record straight and revealed that "nothing" has been confirmed.
For the past few weeks, rumors sparked that the suspense thriller drama might add another episode for its third season.
At the time, OSEN noted that a source from the broadcast company shared that the management is in talks to lengthen the drama; however, nothing has been decided, whether or not to extend "Penthouse 3."
"I've heard that there was a proposal to extend "The Penthouse 3" to 13 episodes from the original 12 episodes, so they're discussing the matter. Nothing has been revealed about the exact ending so far."
In addition, the cast members and the production team have initially signed a 12-episode contract.
To recall, this is not the first time that the revenge drama planned on lengthening the show.
"Penthouse" 1 and 2 were also extended once, wrapping up the first season with 14 episodes, while the second with 13 episodes.
The SBS Friday drama follows the story of the personalities at the Hera Palace, who were driven with money, power, and revenge.
It stars Lee Ji Ah, Kim So Yeon, Eugene, Uhm Ki Joon, and many more.
