The blockbuster K-movie "Parasite" took the world by storm with the film's striking visuals and compelling storyline helmed by critically acclaimed director Bong Joon Ho.
After its debut on May 30, 2019, the black comedy-thriller film gained massive recognition both in the East and West, hence the so-called "Parasite" mania.
Not only that, but it also made history as the first-ever non-English language movie to bag the Best Picture category at the 92nd Academy Awards, widely known as the Oscars
Apart from it, the Bong Joon Ho-directed film also took home three leading awards at the 2020 Oscars, including Best Original Screenplay, Best International Feature Film, and Best Director, where the 51-year-old filmmaker thanked its contenders, Martin Scorsese, and Quintin Tarantino.
With the accolade of awards, the cast members were also lauded by several outlets and celebrities due to their outstanding performance.
Lead stars Song Kang Ho, Choi Woo Shik, Park So Dam, Jang Hye Jin, also known as a Kim family, perfectly illustrate the lower-middle-class Korean family, who lived in a sub-basement apartment.
On the other hand, the completely opposite Park Family, headed by Lee Sun Kyun, and Cho Yeo Jung, display the upper-class family owning a stunningly luxurious house in the heart of the city.
Whether you are just about to see the movie for the first time or have watched it multiple times, here's a rundown of "Parasite" cast update and their upcoming projects this 2021.
