JTBC Sea of Hope episode 10, which stars Lee Dong Wook, Kim Go Eun, and more struggled to keep its viewership ratings up. According to a media outlet, the Friday program's latest episode could not beat their competitor's standing despite the star-studded cast and A-lister guests.

JTBC Sea of Hope Grapples with Less Than 1% Viewership Rating

Sea of Hope episode 10 reportedly scored a 0.9 percent viewership rating, which is said to be its lowest since it debuted on June 29.

For weeks, the reality show strived to increase its ratings with famous guests, including singer-songwriter Sun Woo Jung Ah, former G.Fla member Jung-in, MeloMance's Jeong Dong-hwan, Ziro, and BLACKPINK's Rose.

To recall, the Sea of Hope premiere was able to garner 1.482 percent, making it the highest viewership rating recorded.

The JTBC's Friday night program is a healing reality show centered around the main hosts and their guests' adventures and stories.

"Sea of Hope" boasts a star-studded cast including Lee Dong Wook, Kim Go Eun, "Penthouse" star Lee Ji Ah with musicians such as SHINee's Onew, AKMU's Suhyun, and singer Yoon Jong Shin.

Viewers get to see the famous star live and work by the seaside through a live music bar to entertain customers.

Another feature of the reality show is how the celebrity, particularly the 39-year-old actor and his "Goblin" co-star, dive into the ocean and help clean up the environment.

Interestingly both Lee Dong Wook and Kim Go Eun were passionate about the marine ecosystem and are licensed scuba divers.

In the reality show, the Hallyu king served as a head bartender alongside AKMU's SuHyun as the bartender assistant and musician.

Meanwhile, Kim Go Eun took on the responsibility of an ocean diver by day and server.

The restaurant's head chef is Lee Ji Ah, who works hand in hand with SHINee's Onew as the chef's assistant and musician.
