The much awaited sixth episode of "Hometown Cha-cha-cha" finally hit the small screen on September 12.
In the latest episode, an emphasis was given to the hot and cold relationship of Yoon Hye Jin and Hong Doo Sik, played by Shin Min Ah and Kim Seon Ho, who struggle to build their relationship after a drunken mistake.
Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha Episode 6: Yoon Hye Jin's Resolve: Stop Getting Involved With Hong Doo Sik and Keep The Distance
In the previous episodes, Hong Doo Sik has been a big and great help to Yoon Hye Jin. Even at times when the dentist doesn't need any company, the thoughtful young man is there to make Yoon Hye Jin's day.
"Hometown Cha-cha-cha" episode six showcased the dentist's dilemma about her complicated relationship with Hong Doo Sik. With the kiss still lingering in her mind, and an unknown feeling in her chest, she bravely continues on with her day.
Until Doo Sik decided to show up at the Yoon Dental Clinic with an amazing set of perfectly white and flawless teeth. To her surprise, Doo Sik opens up the passionate kiss they shared at his house.
The warmhearted handyman even offered to be friends, and gave advice to just let the horrid rumors slide. However, the dentist declines and decides to draw a massive line between them.
Unbeknownst to Hye Jin, her sharp words and insensitive comments got to Doo Sik, which hurt his feelings.
The following day, Doo Sik tours around the peaceful seaside village with a mysterious preppy woman, which, even if she denies it, drove Hye Jin wild in curiosity.
Oh Ju Ri Seeks Refuge from Yoon Hye Jin
Like many pre-teen girls, Oh Ju Ri (Kim Min Seo) also wishes to grow up pretty and charming. However, she finds snaggletooth pitiful, sending her self-esteem to a new low.
With this, she runs away from home and seeks refuge from the beautiful and one and only dentist in the seaside village of Gongjin, after her father Cheon Jae (Jo Han Chul) refused to let her get braces for her teeth.
Worried, Doo Sik runs to Hye Jin's place and asks to see Ju Ri, which only makes things between the two adults awkward and much more complicated.

After Hye Jin sends Doo Sik away, the two girls talk about their personal experiences in running away from home.
Judging from Ju Ri's stories about her father, Cheon Jae is a great man who stood as a mother and father, and raised her child with pride and so much love.
With a heavy heart, this hit Hye Jin close to home. Because of longing, and maybe a hint of guilt, the dentist calls her father suddenly, and talks about the fortune plant he sent her, which just bloomed its beautiful flowers.
Her father, Tae Hwa (Seo Sang Won), was delighted with the simple phone call, and asked Hye Jin to call him even when there's no occasion.
Gongjin Holds its Annual Lighthouse Music Festival, Sparks Fly Between Yoon Hye Jin and Hong Doo Sik
The seaside village of Gongjin is indeed small, but it is filled with happiness, color, and love.
In the latest episode, the administrator of Gongjin holds a Lighthouse Music Festival, where musically inclined people as well as entertainers were invited to join to bring joy to everyone who attended the festival.
Oh Ju Ri, who still wishes to get her snaggletooth fixed, secretly joins the competition with a goal to bag the grand prize.
The residents of Gongjin enjoy listening to the performers with bright smiles on their faces. But Hye Jin was caught off her tracks when Doo Sik ran to her, bringing sad news.
At the back stage was a sprained and indifferent Oh Ju Ri, who injured herself while practicing, painstakingly wishing to perform in order to win.
Desperate times call for desperate measures, just like what they said. With her severely swollen feet, Oh Ju Ri still performed with her Hye Jin unnie (older sister) and Doo Sik samchoon (uncle), who acted as her back-up dancers.
Despite their efforts and desires to win, the trio were outdone with Choi Bo Ra's (Go Do Yeon) angelic voice, bagging the second place.
Cheon Jae and Ju Ri's Father-and-Daughter Bond Set a Touchingly Emotional Mood
With his immense worries, Cheon Jae rushes to aid her only daughter, despite their cold war against each other after a series of misunderstandings.
Ju Ri then eagerly runs to June, a member of the boy group DOS whom she idolizes, even with a sprained ankle.
But like most fathers, Cheon Jae couldn't endure seeing her daughter in pain, and decides to give her a piggyback ride despite his herniated disc.
The father-and-daughter showcased a tight bond which exudes a warm and comforting kind of feeling.
Hong Doo Sik, Ji Seong Hyun, and Bromance
In the previous episode, Hong Doo Sik and Ji Seong Hyun cross paths and get along after finding out a common interest.
The two handsome and kind men went to Gongjin observatory together, creating an unusual yet comforting friendship.
In the sixth episode, their paths have crossed with each other once again, showing their playful sides.
Hong Doo Sik and Ji Seong Hyun, despite their differences and contrasting upbringings, without a doubt, became good friends after sharing a hot and scrumptious meal together.
Yoon Hye Jin and Hong Doo Sik Set a Truce, Ji Seong Hyun Suddenly Shows Up
A series of misunderstandings and shared sweet moments together later, Hye Jin and Doo Sik finally called an unspoken truce.
After the music festival ended, the two watched the beautiful fireworks at the seaside together.

Even though Hye Jin and Doo Sik decided to be friends, their unsaid feelings for each other were very much evident. From the stolen glances and heart-fluttering exchange of smiles, it was clear as crystal that the two like each other more than they even know.
However, a potential love interest and competitor in the form of producer Ji Seong Hyun showed up at the seaside, surprising Hye Jin and Doo Sik.
Yoon Hye Jin and Hong Doo Sik: Young Love, Or Maybe Fate?
At the end of the highly anticipated sixth episode, a fateful encounter of middle schoolers Hye Jin and Doo Sik was shown.
Maybe it was fate or destiny that even without their knowledge, Hye Jin and Doo Sik's lives have crossed more than they have ever known.
