'Yumi's Cell' Viewership Rating
Officially premiered on September 17, "Yumi's Cell" episode 1 is off to a decent start after garnering an average nationwide rating of 2.1 percent.
However, "Yumi's Cell" viewership rating is quite distant from two dramas that premiered on the same day.
Honey Lee and Lee Sang Yoon's drama "One the Woman" leads the rating after scoring an average nationwide rating of 8.2 percent for its debut.
Meanwhile, Namgoong Min's "The Veil" nears at an average nationwide rating of 7.2 percent.

'Yumi's Cell' Episode 1 Highlights: Yumi's Longtime Crush Woo Gi
The newest webtoon-based K-drama introduces the life of Kim Yumi (Kim Go Eun), a 32-year-old office girl who is currently single and living alone.
"Yumi's Cell" episode 1 showed a glimpse of her heartbreaking moment from her previous relationship and welcomed her adorable cells that comprise of emotion, anger, hunger, and her primary cell, who act as the group leader, love cell.
Unfortunately, due to a traumatic breakup, her love cell fell into a coma, causing chaos and disorder among her cells.
Moreover, the rom-com series highlights Yumi's infatuation with her officemate Woo Gi (SHINee's Minho), who mysteriously appeared in her dreams.
In one scene, the office crush approached her and asked about her address, confusing Yumi why he asked for such personal details.
Of course, this caused an uproar in Sepho Village and made the Emotional cell think that Woogi was hinting about something.
What Happened to Yumi's Love Cell?
"Yumi's Cell" episode 1 illustrate the reason behind her Love cell's condition.
Three years ago, a flood occurred at Sepho Village due to Yumi's breakup with her then-boyfriend.
Unfortunately, Love cell was swept away in tears and fell into a coma. Due to this, Yumi has lost her drive to love again, not until she meets Woogi.

At her office, Yumi is still baffled regarding Woogi's question. She wanted to clear things, but thankfully one of her cells intervened and prevented her from asking him a question.
Of course, every love story has obstacles, and for Yumi, it was her co-worker Ruby (Lee Yoo Bi), a junior at the finance department.
While at the pantry, Ruby boasted about going out with Woogi to check out Ilsang's flower festival.
The news made Yumi jealous, but luckily, Woogi came in and invited her. Chief Nam (Jung Soon Won), Ruby and Yumi's boss and Woogi's friend, will also join after being invited by Ruby.
However, due to unforeseeable circumstances with their schedule, Woogi and Yumi ended up going to the flower festival.
The sudden turn of events caused her Love cell to wake up from a coma and return to the Sepho village.
