Things escalated quickly in Yumi's Cells episode 4 as Kim Go Eun and Ahn Bo Hyun went on their second date.

Apart from the intensifying romance is the Kdrama's ascending viewership rating.

According to Nielsen Korea, Yumi's Cells episode 4 garnered an average nationwide rating of 2.5 percent, achieving a new personal best in terms of ratings.

To recall, episode 3 plummeted to an average nationwide rating of 1.9 percent marking its lowest viewership rating yet.

Yumi's Cells Episode 4 Highlights: Goo Woong Brings Yumi to the Hospital

The latest episode began with Yumi feeling under the weather throughout the day.

During her confrontation with Ruby, Goo Woong suddenly appeared out of nowhere with his umbrella, saving Yumi from the rain.

At the bus station, Yumi fainted, which prompted Goo Woong to take her to the hospital.

After coming to her senses, she felt grateful towards the new guy and asked him out on their second date.

"I want to repay you. Let's have dinner," she told him.

Goo Woong then mentioned that anyone in the same situation would have done the same, to which Yumi replied. "I'm asking you out on a second date."

Goo Woong's Love Cell Goes on a Disguise to Enter Yumi's Heart

While Yumi was unconscious, Goo Woong bought her a change of clothes with a frog printed on it.

At the Sepho village, the cell guards let the frog in despite him not disclosing Yumi's password.

Surprisingly, the whole town was thankful of their new visitor for keeping Hysteria cell locked up and even finding True Feelings and Love Cell, who were both stranded in an island.

However, while on their way to the village, the frog revealed its true identity. Love Cell and True Feelings were surprised after finding out that it was Goo Woong's Love Cell who entered Sepho.

Yumi's Lust Cell and Goo Woong's Lustosaurous is on the Rage

Yumi's Cells episode 4 featured the duo's second date.

Just when she thought that things were going her way, Yumi's newly bought white dress was splattered with coffee.

Being a true gentleman, Goo Woong offered Yumi to change and clean up at his house.

Interestingly, Yumi's lust cell sees this as an opportunity to step up a notch between their relationship. The same goes for Goo Woong's Lustosaurous, who seems to be out of control.

Luckily, with the help of Love Cell, Reason managed to control Yumi's Lust Cell while Goo Woong's primary cell also did the same thing and locked Lustosaurous.

Goo Woong and Yumi's First Kiss

The latest episode delivered heart-fluttering moments as Yumi's Cells episode 4 showed how things escalated between the two.

The following day, he decided to bring Yumi's clothes to her house.

However, he was baffled by the situation and asked her, "You had a change of clothes, so why did you come to my place?"

Yumi was caught off guard and told him that he had forgotten to have it.

He then told Yumi how cute she was, but Yumi then changed the topic by inviting him over for dinner.

Surprisingly, Goo Woong held his hand and pulled her for a kiss.
