Park Eun Bin, who showed her amazing skills in "Hello, My Twenties!", returns to the small screen as a crown prince in the new historical romance drama "The King's Affection" alongside SF9 Rowoon.

On September 29, she shared her thoughts and how she prepared for the drama. Not only that but she also revealed her experience in cross-dressing.

KBS2's newest Monday and Tuesday historical romance drama "The King's Affection" follows the story of the crown prince Lee Hwi (Park Eun Bin) who aims to be the King one day, while keeping her identity and gender a secret.

In the drama, Park Eun Bin takes on the role of the crown prince who is a master of his own craft, as well as other regal things. The actress shared her preparations and the processes she went through to perfectly express her character.

She shared, "I trained and learned how to properly ride a horse. It's difficult, especially because I need to keep a neutral charm so Lee Hwi looks like a natural horse rider. I also paid attention to the tone of my character's voice, as well as the subtleness of the details."

Directors and previous co-workers described Park Eun Bin as "an actor who can be trusted," as she shows reliable acting performances no matter what role she is offered.

When asked why she chose "The King's Affection" as her new project, she answered, "The plot and story of the main character was fascinating. I thought it is a rare and precious work that will not be offered to me for a while, so there's no reason not to appear in it."

To Park Eun Bin, compassion for the character is her main driving force for training herself as an actor.

Since Lee Hwi had a secret to keep, he needs to make himself stronger. Park Eun Bin dubbed Lee Hwi as "a person like a blue flame that burns quietly at a higher temperature than a red flame."

"Lee Hwi is strong as he chose a lonely road to walk through at such a young age," she continued, "He is surrounded with cold iron walls, keeping people away from him."

According to the actress, portraying the role of a crown prince despite being the opposite sex is a great twist that supersedes the drama expectations in today's generation.

Lee Hwi kept himself behind the mask to hide his true identity, he never truly expressed his feelings freely for he felt dangerous and in danger most times.

However, Jeong Ji Woon (Rowoon), his teacher, appears and starts to shake his world with iron walls.

Park Eun Bin hinted at a potential romance by saying, "Ji Woon will also teach Lee Hwi how to express a feeling that can never be controlled."

She also encouraged viewers to anticipate the drama, "Please look forward to seeing Lee Hwi and Ji Woon's romance in "The King's Affection.""

The forthcoming drama is set to air on October 11 at 9:30 p.m. KST on KBS. It will also be available on Netflix.
