In addition, there were already 300 participants who applied for the game, but according to the mechanics, there will only be two groups of 15 participants each who will be able to compete.
The contestants will also wear the same tracksuits that the players in the real drama have worn, the staff who will be assisting the game will wear the iconic circle, triangle, and square costumes.
The upcoming event is expected to feature four of the six games used in the series; the famous tug-of-war and squid game will be excluded. Ddakji, which Seong Gi Hun (Lee Byung Hun) and the Salesman (Gong Yoo) played, will be added to the list of games.
Plus, since it will be a real-life event, there will be no brutal punishments for the players and there's no money prize to be given to the winner. Instead, the Korean Cultural Center has the goal to inspire the people living in the UAE to learn more about Korean culture.
