Hong Cheong Gi Met the Demon King
After falling ill due to tense circumstances, Hong Cheong Gi had a dream about the royal painting.
She sees the late King Young Jong (Jeon Gook Hwan) looking at him while transforming as the demon king.
Upon waking up from the bad dream, Cheon Gi went to her father and told him that she'd be the one restoring the royal painting that he once drew.
Moreover, she also asked the guidance from her father, saying, "help me just this once so I can finish it."
In this way, she can help Ha Ram and seal the demon king that lingers in the astrologer's body.
Prince Yang Myeong Asks Ha Ram to Attend the Sealing Ceremony
In "Lovers of the Red Sky" episode 11, everyone knew about Ha Ram's alter ego and his possible connection with a slew of mysterious deaths.
The grand prince had a serious talk with the blind astrologer and mentioned the sealing ceremony.
Ha Ram will agree to be at the sealing ceremony on one condition--to ensure the palace, especially the grand prince, that nothing terrible will happen to Hong Cheon Gi.
The astrologer tells the grand prince that every artist who finishes the royal painting ends in a deep curse, just like Cheon Gi's father.
Ha Ram's revelation surprised Prince Yang Myeong and thought that he was putting the royal painter in danger and was caught up in a big decision--to stop the restoration, or Hong Cheon Gi will suffer.
Ha Ram Gets Warned
At the cell, an old man next to Ha Ram spoke about his father, and it seems that he also knew the astrologer.
He then mysteriously warned him about the divine painting, referring to Hong Cheon Gi saying that people will swarm the prison, including the person who will hold his hand.
"Someone who can save or destroy you," he tells the astrologer, adding, "You must hold her hand."
Ha Ram eagerly asked for more information, but the old man refused to answer.
Hong Cheong Gi Gets Arrested
In hopes to see Ha Ram, the divine painter, snuck into the police bureau with the help of his friends, Cha Young Wook and Choi Jung.
Unfortunately, the royal guards busted their disguise and plans, prompting them to arrest the painters.
At the cell, Ha Ram was surprised to see Cheon Gi next to him.
She tells him about the demon king, saying that she is also responsible for Ma Wang manifesting in Ha Ram's body.
"When you and I come in contact, the demon manifests itself," Cheon Gi said.
Surprised with her revelation, Ha Ram is still concerned with Cheon Gi restoring the painting.
