As the webtoon-based drama near its finale, "Yumi's Cells" struggles to keep up with its competitors in terms of rating.
Per Nielsen Korea, "Yumi's Cells" episode 11 viewership rating dips to an average rating of 1.9 percent, while Honey Lee's "One the Woman" earned a double-digit and achieved an average nationwide rating of 14.0 percent.
On the other hand, Namgoong Min's Kdrama, "The Veil," remained with a 7.4 percent viewership rating.

'Yumi's Cells' Episode 11 Highlights: Yumi Learned Goo Woong's Unfortunate Set-Up
The October 22 episode began with Goo Woong facing a tough time as his business hit rock bottom.
To keep his company, he has decided to sell his apartment, leaving him having no home.
However, he has decided to stay at their office until he finds a place to stay.
Interestingly, "Yumi's Cells" episode 11 featured how Kim Yumi loved to surprise her boyfriend; unfortunately, she was the one who got surprised after learning that Goo Woong had sold his house.
After an almost big fight, he explained to Yumi the real reason why he made such big decisions and did not tell her.
Being the best girlfriend that she is, Yumi offered her place to Goo Wong.
Initially, his ego is getting in the way and he resists the offer, but gladly, he caved in and realized that it would be better to leave with his girlfriend than at the office.
Goo Wong, the Neat Freak
Living together really made Yumi know more about Goo Woong and vice versa.
One thing that surprised her is how he loves to clean and organize things--from the cups, frames and he even alphabetized and arranged her books according to the genre.
As the viewers know, Yumi's chore cell is quite slack and loves to leave things hanging.
Meanwhile, this trait of Goo Woong made the whole Sepho Village confused as to how his chore cell managed to do such things.

Yumi's Big Move

After much thought, Yumi has decided to take a big leap of faith and move to another department.
While on her way to the office, he bumped into Yoo Bobby and wanted to ask regarding her salary but was hesitant to talk about her raise.
Luckily, Yoo Bobby mentioned that she will get one and will discuss with her the exact pay she'll get.
Of course, her Cheapskate cell was all giddy with the amount that she was going to save.
Goo Woong's Birthday Surprise
"Yumi's Cells" episode 11 illustrates how Kim Yumi exerted an effort to give her boyfriend a memorable birthday.
First, she looked for a gift and lied about forgetting his special day.
Second, she prepared food for Goo Woong and even made a personal cake just for the birthday boy.
However, little did she know that she was about to get a surprise instead of Woong.
It came after Yumi found a mechanical keyboard and asked Goo Woong about it and mentioned that it was for her first day at work. She felt guilty that Woong remembered her first day at work but not his birthday.
With this, she asked him to go upstairs and mentioned that she had prepared something for him. While having diner, Yumi asked Goo Woong one tough question.
"Do you want to get married?" which left him confused and shocked.
