Following Dispatch's bombshell exposé about Kim Seon Ho's ex-girlfriend, a report revealed how the "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha" star faced massive controversy.
Kdrama's "good boy" experienced emotional highs and lows for the past few weeks due to the scathing allegations thrown at him.
To recall, South Korea's rising star was identified as "actor K" in an online post claiming that the celebrity persuaded his then-girlfriend to have an abortion.
Kim Seon Ho Almost Gave Up His Career Because of the Issue
Amid Kim Seon Ho's controversy, the 35-year-old star considered quitting showbiz.
In one radio broadcast, a reporter revealed how the "Start-Up" star was stunned with the issue after it circulated online.
The reporter mentioned that it is unlikely for the actor to "mess around with the media," but "he is not taking any measures" regarding this.
Obviously, the scandal rocked his career and tainted his "good boy" image--this is the reason why he considered giving up his career.
"He's so shocked by this situation that he was rather contemplating giving up everything. I am talking about his career in the entertainment industry," said the reporter as obtained by a media outlet.
In addition, the reporter was also fascinated by the fact that the close friends of Kim Seon Ho's ex-girlfriend are speaking up to defend the actor.

To recall, the issue was such a huge blow towards his career that several brands and companies took down his endorsements and global campaigns, including Domino's Pizza, French skincare La Roche Posay, 11street, MIIMA Mask and more.
It was despite Kim Seon Ho's apology addressing the issue about his past actions toward his ex-girlfriend, saying that he "hurt her due to my carelessness and inconsiderate actions."
Apart from the brands, his upcoming projects were also affected by the issue.
It came after the rising star dropped from KBS2's variety show "2 Days & 1 Night Season 4" at the height of the controversy.
The news was confirmed by the show's production team, adding, "We will do our best to edit him out of the already filmed footage to reduce the discomfort felt by viewers."
