Jung Hae In's New Kdrama 'Snowdrop'
His appearance with the publication comes ahead of his upcoming Kdrama "Snowdrop" with BLACKPINK's Jisoo.
The soon-to-be-released melodrama is gaining the public's attention due to the lead stars' unique on-screen chemistry.
For weeks, JTBC has been enticing viewers with a series of teaser and official photos featuring Eun Young Ro, played by the Kpop star, and Im Soo Ho, portrayed by the "Prison Playbook" actor.
What's more interesting is that "Snowdrop" will be BLACKPINK's Jisoo debut as an actress.
The duo took on the role of university students who were caught up in a chaotic era during the late 1980s.
The upcoming melodrama series is helmed by the director and writer of the smash hit revenge drama "SKY Castle" and is scheduled to be released on December 18 with 16 episodes.
Jung Hae In Share his Thoughts on New Drama
In an interview, the "One Spring Night" star dishes his experience and what prompted him to accept the offer.
He says that the storyline and the people behind it was the reason he said yes to the role.
"The biggest reason was the writing. The strength of the writing, the strength of the story, and my infinite trust in the writer and director."
"Snowdrop" will be Jung Hae In's next project after the blockbuster Netflix series "D.P."
On the other hand, the heartthrob is set to appear in three new Kdramas, which include "D.P" season 2, mystery thriller "Connect" directed by Japanese PD Takashi Miike, and Lee Je Hoon's directorial debut "Unframed."
BLACKPINK's Jisoo Grateful for her Co-Stars in 'Snowdrop'
In the same interview, the Kpop star also spoke about her character Young Ro and said that she and the character live entirely differently.
As for being a newcomer actress, she revealed that everyone on set treated her like Young Ro instead of Jisoo.
"Thanks to them, I was able to completely focus on being Young Ro, so I was really grateful to the staff," she said.
