As the tvN mystery thriller series neared its finale, the latest episode's viewership rating scored an average nationwide rating of 7.7 percent, per Nielsen Korea.

"Jirisan" episode 13 viewership rating remains unbeatable, being the top place in its time slot across all cable channels.

The December 4 episode continues with the rescue mission of the park rangers during the strong rainfall that occurred in the mountain.

The Haedong rangers were proud and expressed their support for Lee Yang Sun, who had just carried out her first-ever mission.

Over the radio, Jung Goo Young cheered Yang Sun and was so proud that she managed to lead the rescue.

Seo Yi Kang also received shocking news about her grandmother at the height of the tragedy.

Commander Jo Dae Jin informed the ranger that Lee Moon Ok was among the victims of the bus accident.

The grieving ranger also rejected the help from his colleagues for the burial ceremony of her grandmother--this includes Kang Hyun Jo, who expressed his sympathy but Seo Yi Kang blamed the rookie ranger for the death of her family.

Kang Hyun Jo Connects the Cable Car Project and the 1995 Accident

"Jirisan" episode 13 also featured how Kang Hyun Jo is eager to crack the mysterious care at the mountain and avoid more deaths.

He feels guilty about the loss of Lee Moon Ok and continues his hush-hush investigation with the case.

The rookie ranger asked their commander more about the cable car project and the 1995 accident.

He connected the dots and thinks that the two are involved with the current Jirisan accidents.

Kang Hyun Jo's Vision

The latter part of "Jirisan" episode 13 showed the present time in 2020.

It was during Seo Yi Kang and the ranger team leader Park Il Hae'sHae's confrontation with Jung Goo Young.

The duo thinks that Goo Young might be connected with the Jirisan incidents since he was at the mountain during Lee Da Won'sWon's death; however, they found out that he was visiting the mountain because of Yang Sun.

"You told me to remember things," he said to Il Hae, adding that he will never ever forget her.

However, the trio received an SOS call regarding an accident nearby.

Goo Young, alongside Il Hae, rushed for the rescue leaving Seo Yi Kang in the middle of the woods.

His spirit tries to save Seo Yi Kang from possible danger at the mountain.
