'One Ordinary Day' Episode 8: Fate Never Favors with Kim Hyun Soo
After experiencing endless difficulties, Shin Jung Han (Cha Seung Won) himself stands in court as a witness for Kim Hyun Soo (Kim Soo Hyun), and reveals that detective Park Sang Beom (Kim Hong Pa) hid Kim Hyun Soo's nebulizer to put him in a tight position.

He also caused a commotion by pointing out that it was a well laid-out plan executed by the police. Shin Jung Han Finally Finds the Killer
Kim Hyun Soo, who suffered, had been tortured and beaten up inside the prison, reaches out again for an appeal.
Because of Shin Jung Han's never-ending passion to clear Kim Hyun Soo's name, he worked harder to find a lead. Fortunately, he finds the culprit within a matter of time.
Doctor Park Chan Yeol, Hong Guk Hwa's (Hwang Se On) doctor who prescribed her medicine for her disordered sleeping, is found guilty. Because of his rage after the woman turned him down as a lover, he decided to take her life, as he didn't want anyone to be loved by her if it wasn't him.

When Guk Hwa finds out that he was married, she ends things with him, but Park Chan Yeol also ends her life.
Jung Han then persuades him to admit it in front of the judge, and luckily, the guilty doctor obliged, clearing Kim Hyun Soo's name and finally redeems his innocence.
The Torture is Finally Over
In the end, prosecutor Ahn Tae Hee gets promoted as a chief prosecutor. Detective Park Sang Beom retires with a light heart.
Kim Hyun Soo then returns home with a broken heart, despite being declared innocent. All of the torture and painful memories came into his mind. On the other hand, Shin Jung Han returns to establish his name as a renowned lawyer.
