"The Silent Sea" cast Bae Doona and Gong Yoo dishes their thoughts about the upcoming Netflix series and towards their executive producer, Jung Woo Sung.
The upcoming sci-fi series is gaining hype due to its intriguing plot and star-studded cast.
Apart from it, the streaming giant teases viewers with jaw-dropping visuals through still cuts and official posters.
Bae Doona and Gong Yoo Lauded Jung Woo Sung for Being a Hands-On Executive Producer
In a virtual press conference ahead of the much-awaited debut, the lead stars and PD Choi Hang Yong shared their experience and showed their love towards the whole team, especially with the actor turned producer.
The "Kingdom" actress revealed that the award-winning actor regularly came to the set and did not miss any filming session,
Bae Doona mentioned that she was stunned by Jung Woo Sung's dedication adding, "It's the first time I've seen a producer who works so hard."
Moreover, the 42-year-old beauty shared that she didn't feel any "discomfort" while on the set and was truly grateful towards her co-stars and the whole team.
"I think this is the first time I have received such consideration. It helped me a lot," she added.
The same goes for Gong Yoo, who also showered Jung Woo Sung with good words.
The Hallyu star mentioned that although he and the senior actor haven't got a chance to work on one project, the "Train to Busan" star says he was "moved to meet him as a producer and an actor on the spot."
As for his co-stars, Gong Yoo revealed that they had become very close, more of "brothers and sisters" through the film.

'The Silent Sea' Release Date, Cast and More
The soon-to-be-released Netflix series follows the story of an elite space crew who are assigned to bring back a sample archive from the abandoned lunar base called the "silent sea."
The special mission is set in the future where Earth is slowly depleting from natural resources like water and food.
Leading the mission is astrobiologist Song Ji An, played by Bae Doona, who was instructed by Korea Space Aviation Administration's resource team Kim Jae Seon (Ho Seung Tae) to gather evidence at the rundown lunar space station.
To recall, a mysterious accident occurred in the "silent sea," killing several astronauts, including Song Ji Ah's sister.
Years later, she is set to undergo the same mission with the help of Han Yoon Jae's team, played by Gong Yoo.
The Hallyu star transformed as the space crew's captain, with a senior engineer Ryu Tae Seok, played by Lee Joon.
Joining the expedition is Kim Sun Young, who took on the role of team physician Hong Ga Young and Lee Moo Saeng as the soldier and head of security Gong Soo Hyuk.
"The Silent Sea" release is set on December 24, exclusively on Netflix.
