Lee Je Hoon and Goo Kyo Hwan may return to the big screens together with a new action movie "Escape."
The two actors proved their brilliance in their previous works "Escape from Mogadishu," "Collectors," "Move to Heaven," "Kingdom" and "Peninsula," to name a few.
Lee Je Hoon and Goo Kyo Hwan to Star in New Film 'Escape'
COMPANY ON and Namoo Actors, Lee Je Hoon and Goo Kyo Hwan's respective agencies, revealed that both actors received an offer to star in the upcoming film "Escape," and are positively reviewing it.
"Escape" depicts the story of soldiers from North Korea who are attempting to defect from their country.
The upcoming film will be directed by director Lee Jong Pil, the same brilliant filmmaker behind the award-winning films "Samjin Company English Class" and "The Sound of a Flower."

Previously, the two stars expressed their desire to work together explicitly at the 42nd Blue Dragon Film Awards held in November. Lee Je Hoon gave Goo Kyo Hwan a "finger heart," which the latter returned with much enthusiasm.
If the two stars accept the offer, they will take on the roles of North Korean defectors. Lee Jong Pil's "Escape" is slated to begin filming in February of 2022.
'Taxi Driver,' 'D.P.' and More
While waiting for "Escape," Lee Je Hoon and Goo Kyo Hwan have other dramas and films to offer.

"Taxi Driver," as well as its actors, delivered a promising performance that gained popularity worldwide. The crime drama phenomenon is based on actual heinous crimes in South Korea.
Apart from Lee Je Hoon, award-winning actors Esom and Kim Eui Sung also joined in decorating the drama.
In July, SBS TV announced that the drama's second season is in the works. However, the exact release date is yet to be announced.
Another amazing drama that is gearing up for a second season is Goo Kyo Hwan's "D.P."
On December 14, Netflix series "D.P." announced the confirmation of the drama.
