They now do the things they weren't able to do before, thinking that they were a waste of time and money.

Uninvited Guests Visit Ko-o's Late-Night Art Exhibit
To showcase his mad illustrating skills, Woong holds a three-late-night exhibit near his home, boasting off his unmatched talent.
Many people visited the exhibit, all in awe at Woong's masterpieces. However, Yeon Soo hasn't shown up yet. To woong's surprise, two uninvited guests enter the museum.
It's bad and great news, truly. NJ (Noh Jung Ui), who has expressed her feelings for Woong deeply, now is much more determined to live a normal life.
Knowing that she has no chance in Woong's heart, she steps back and offers her hand for a new friendship.
While the two reconcile, Nua (Kwang Dong Yeon), Woong's rival in his career, enters his exhibit with an annoying smug look in the face.
In their conversation, Nua intimidates Woong with his aggression and loathing. But Woong didn't care, even when Nua admits to stealing one of his works, and plagiarizing him.
Pain and Tears Become Yeon Soo, Woong and Ji Woong's Common Denominator
Although Yeon Soo promised Woong that she wouldn't miss his exhibit for the world, her entire heart pounds mercilessly in her ribcage as she receives a call from the hospital, learning her grandmother's situation.
At times like this, the old Yeon Soo would cut off herself from people and focus on more important things. However, her grandmother reassures her that she'll be fine by herself, after she stayed with Yeon Soo's side all her life.
Yeon Soo then runs to Woong's heart, not knowing that the latter's heart shattered just minutes ago after a famous critic heavily criticized his works and even his disposition in life.
But Woong didn't care about how hurt he was, instead he wrapped his arms around Yeon Soo, making sure the crying woman was safe.

Lastly, Ji Woong suffers alone. As a kid, he never thought that he had a family, not even a mother. His mother frequently abandoned him growing up.
Because of this, Ji Woong learned how to fend for himself the hard way. Now that he learns his mother is dying, he is stuck in a dilemma as to why he doesn't feel sad at all.
The three didn't suffer alone, but endured the pain together, despite not being around each other physically. "Our Beloved Summer" episode 16 is expected to put the right pieces of the puzzle in their rightful places soon.
