Interestingly, supporting actors like Lim Jae Hyuk are getting the recognition they deserve.
In the 12-part episode zombie apocalypse series, the newcomer impressed millions of viewers with his undeniable acting skills, portraying the role of junior high school Yang Dae Su.
Due to his strength and body build, he played a significant role in helping his classmate survive the horde of flesh-eating monsters.
Interestingly, he purposely gained weight for the role.
Lim Jae Hyuk Gained More than 30 kg to Play Yang Dae Su in 'All of Us Are Dead'
On his channel, reporter turned Youtuber Lee Jinho talked about an interesting story about the "All of Us Are Dead" actor Lim Jae Hyuk.
He revealed that the budding actor lost 30kg after signing a contract with his agency Studio Santa Claus Entertainment but had to ramp up his weight for the K-zombie series.
"When he first signed a contract with his agency, he lost 30 kg. This has been confirmed by the agency. However, he gained 32 kg for his role in 'All of Us are Dead,'" he said, noting that the newcomer lost 25kg after the series concluded and now weighs 82kg.

Apart from sacrificing his weight for the character, Lim Jae Hyuk continued to work multiple jobs to make ends meet.
Like the majority of the cast members, the Netflix series gave him a big break after trying out his luck in the entertainment industry.

Interestingly, YouTuber Lee Jinho revealed that Lim Jae Hyuk works as a delivery man, construction worker and driver even after starring in the teen zombie flick.
"While Lim Jae Hyuk saw huge success with 'All of Us Are Dead,' it's been revealed that he isn't considered a full-time actor yet. He's an actor that will do anything for money and he's currently rotating as a construction worker, Coupang driver, and delivery driver. In order for him to become an actor, he is working hard and doing whatever he can to make ends meet."

The reporter turned YouTuber also noted how Lee Jae Hyuk's Instagram grew rapidly after starring in "All of Us Are Dead."
