Shin Hye Sun is making a comeback to the small screen with the upcoming Kdrama "Wax Doll."
According to Newsen, the actress' agency, YNK Entertainment, confirmed that the 32-year-old beauty received the offer to appear as one of the main characters.
On the other hand, details such as her role, fellow cast members, plot and director are yet to be confirmed.
If the "Thirty But Seventeen" star accepts the role, this will be her second project after her blockbuster Kdrama "Mr. Queen" in 2020.
Shin Hye Sun New Drama 'See You in My 19th Life'
Aside from "Wax Doll," Shin Hye Sun is also in talks to star in a webtoon-based series titled "See You in My 19th Life."
In December 2021, YNK Entertainment shared that the actress "received a casting offer" and has reviewed the upcoming project.
Interestingly, Shin Hye Sun's agency also noted that "See You in My 19th Life" is one of the offers that she is looking forward to, hinting at a big possibility that she will accept the role.
If she officially agrees to join the cast, the "Stranger" star will take on the character of Ban Ji Eum.
In the forthcoming romance drama, her character harbors an extraordinary ability to recall her past lives.
Ban Ji Eum will also meet her greatest named Yun Ju Won.

Based on the popular Naver webtoon of the same name, written by Lee Hey, Shin Hye Sun's new drama will be directed by Lee Na Jung, who helmed several iconic rom-com such as "Oh My Venus," "Fight for My Way," the "Love Aram" series and "Mine."
Shin Hye Sun to Star in Three Upcoming Films
Apart from her Kdrama comeback, the 32-year-old star is also making a return to the big screen.
After the action-adventure movie "Collectors" starring Lee Je Hoon, Shin Hye Sun is set to headline the thriller drama "She Died."
She will work alongside Byun Yo Han and "Dr. Brain" actress Lee El. The film depicts the story of the modern era where people are driven by social media.
Aside from it, Shin Hye Sun is also confirmed as the main cast in the action-packed movie "Brave Citizen."
The award-winning actress once again proves her diversity as an actress as she plays the protagonist So Si Min.
Joining her is U-Kiss' Lee Jun Young, who will be Si Min's nemesis.
Based on the webtoon of the same name, "Brave Citizen" depicts the story of a rising boxing star during her high school.
Unfortunately, So Si Min encountered a devastating fate that prompted her to leave her passion and become a part-time teacher instead. This is where she sees the injustice, forcing her to act on it.
Shin Hye Sun is also in talks to star in the thriller crime movie "Open the Door" with Kang Tae Oh.
