The slice of life K-drama is the newest series of Son Ye Jin. She took the role of Cha Mi Jo, a head dermatologist at a clinic in Gangnam.
"Thirty-Nine" follows the story of three best friends who met during their high school years. Joining her in the JTBC series are Jeon Mi Do as acting teacher Jang Chan Young Kim Ji Hyun as Jang Joo Hee, who works as a beauty cosmetics manager.
In the K-drama, Son Ye Jin is paired with Yeon Woo Jin as dermatologist Kim Seon Woo, who works at her clinic. "Thirty-Nine" delivers heartwarming scenes, especially with the trio, and features their struggles and challenges as they turn 40.
