Amid the hype that the action fantasy K-drama "Tomorrow" has been receiving since it made a debut, one lead star is being slammed for their poor acting.
The MBC series stars Kim Hee Sun, SF9 Rowoon, Lee Soo Hyuk, and Yun Ji Oh as the grim reapers of the underworld.
In the weekend drama, Crisis Management Department, is responsible for preventing people from committing suicide. It is headed by the fearless Goo Ryun (Kim Hee Sun.)
Her group consists of her left-hand man, Im Ryung Goo (Yun Ji On), and the rookie grim reaper Choi Joon Woong (Rowoon.)
Meanwhile, the group's rival team is led by the cold-blooded Park Joong Gil (Lee Soo Hyuk), the team leader of the Guiding Management Team, who escorts souls as they cross the afterlife.
While the K-drama is on its seventh episode, viewers notice the poor performance of one lead star.
SF9 Rowoon Slammed for His Acting Skills
The singer-actors' portrayal of the newbie grim reaper gains mixed reactions from viewers.
In "Tomorrow," episode 6, viewers lauded Rowoon for nailing emotional scenes, especially with their new case involving a war veteran who is about to meet his death.
Unfortunately, this is not the case for everyone. While some praise him for his portrayal of quirky Choi Joon Woong, others, especially K-Netz, think that his acting was "awkward."

As cited by a media outlet, viewers believe that his role is not suited for SF9 Rowoon. In addition, others were disappointed that the Kpop star had more screen time than Lee Soo Hyuk. He was praised for delivering a hands-down performance as Park Joong Gil.

SF9 Rowoon Talks About Transforming as a Part-Time Grim Reaper in 'Tomorrow'
Ahead of the drama's debut, the singer-actor, together with the "Tomorrow" cast, discussed their honest thoughts about their respective characters in the webtoon-based series.
As noted by Osen, the SF9 member shared that he is trying to convey how "ordinary" Joon Woong is as compared to the other grim reapers, saying, "his skills are not skills that only he has. It's a skill that everyone has."
On the other hand, viewers mentioned how Kim hee Sun underwent a bold transformation for her K-drama comeback.
The 44-year-old beauty chopped off her long dark locks and traded for bright pink short hair to play Goo Ryun.
Interestingly, she paired her vibrant hair with smokey eye makeup, which is her character's trademark.
For the actress, she revealed that she had gained attention because of her transformation.
"Thanks to this hair, I received a lot of attention. I've tried a lot of roles, but it's my first time trying one like this, so I tried to be bold."
"Tomorrow" is the newest action fantasy series of MBC and is set to broadcast its seventh episode on April 22, which is also available via Netflix.
