On April 20, the South Korean heartthrob was selected to headline the webtoon-based K-drama "Vigilante."
As noted by Sports Chosun, Nam Joo Hyuk's agency Management SOOP shared that he "is positively reviewing the offer."
If he accepts the offer, the 28-year-old celebrity will transform into a rookie police university student and a vigilante named Kim Ji Yong.
Interestingly, while his appearance is still in discussion, Lee Sung Kyung is rumored to join the action thriller K-drama.

Following a possible new project for Nam Joo Hyuk, his former co-star turned ex-girlfriend Lee Sung Kyung has also received an offer to star in the same series.
As noted by a media outlet, rumors sparked in Pann that the producer of the said series is reportedly inviting the model-actress to star in Nam Joo Hyuk's new drama.
Moreover, Lee Sung Kyung is courted to play the role of Choi Mi Ryeo.
Interestingly, this will be the second time they are both starring in one project.

In the 2016 sports-themed series, the actress plays the titular character who was torn between pursuing her love for weightlifting and her blossoming romance with swimmer Jung Joon Hyeong, portrayed by Nam Joo Hyuk.
