While the action-fantasy K-drama highlights the characters' past, viewership ratings continue to grapple as it reaches its second half.
As noted by Nielsen Korea, "Tomorrow" episode 10 viewership slides to an average nationwide of 2.5 percent.
'Tomorrow' Episode 10 Recap: Goo Ryeong Lives with Regret
The latest episode touched on the past of Goo Ryeong (Kim Hee Sun) and Park Joon Gil (Lee Soo Hyuk).
In "Tomorrow," episode 10, it revealed that Risk Management Team leader committed suicide, which is the main reason why Park Joong Gil disdained people who end their lives.
Jade Emperor (Kim Hae Sook) hints at the reason why she chose Goo Ryeong to be the head of the RM team, which is to fulfill her wish of living her life in regret.
Im Ryung Goo Recalls His Inner Wounds
The tenth episode also features the past of Im Ryung Goo (Yun Ji On).
Goo Ryeong warned Choi Joon Woong (Rowoon) that the new case might be sensitive for their fellow grim reaper as it tackles sexual harassment.
In addition, the case involved not just one but two persons involved. The twins' named Cha Yun Jae and Cha Yun Hui are planning to commit suicide after the latter was sexually assaulted on her way home.

Unfortunately, the attacker only has a two-year penalty. What makes Cha Yun Jae furious is that he sees the assailant enjoying his life while his sister suffers from the trauma. With this, he thinks that it's his fault why his sister ended up like that.
As for Im Ryung Goo, "Tomorrow" episode 10 revealed that his mother was gang-raped, causing her to take her own life; this is why Goo Ryeong advised Choi Joon Woong to look after him as they solved their new task.
Cha Yun Hui Wants to End Her Misery
As the incident left the twins devastated, Cha Yun Hui wanted to end her misery by committing suicide. Thankfully, Goo Ryeon and the team saw this, preventing Yun Hui from ending her life.
In addition, Goo Ryeon shared her own hardship by revealing what it feels like cutting yourself and seeing your own death. It made Cha Yun Hui realize that suicide will not end things but would rather leave wounds to her loved ones, especially her parents and brother.
Interestingly, the Risk Management Team did what they had to do and punished the attacker for his crime.
Goo Ryeon transforms into a prosecutor and charges the assailant for over 10,000 years in prison.
On the other hand, as the attacker is being transferred to the prison, Park Joong Gil arrives, announcing that his soul is being collected.
However, he pointed out that he didn't deserve to die in a peaceful way, so instead of dying of a heart attack, the attacker was burned alive.
