'Our Blues' Episode 8: Bang Young Ju, Jung Hyeon Fend For Themselves
With their fathers' determination to abort their baby, Bang Young Ju (Noh Yoon Seo) and Jung Hyeon (Bae Hyun Sung) stand for themselves.
Young Ju, who refuses to abort the baby, gets kicked out of their house despite being sick. She spends her night at the town's motel with little money from her savings.

Meanwhile, Hyeon, whose pride was crushed from asking help from their fathers, accepted part-time job offers in order to earn money.
Jung In Kwon, Bang Ho Sik Look Back at the Past
When In Kwon goes to the motel, he forces Young Ju to go to the hospital and get an abortion. Luckily, Hyeon stops.
Because of this, In Kwon and Hyeon fight once more, even saying things that they never really mean.
Ho Sik, who hears her daughter's suffering, runs to the motel and sees In Kwon. After hearing In Kwon's plans, the former throws a punch at the latter.
This fist fight sends the two of them to jail, where they look back and reminisce about the past.

In Kwon doesn't know why his younger friend hates him so much, but when Ho Sik reiterates the insult he had said to him, he starts to feel bad about himself.
Ho Sik treats In Kwon his best friend and the person he looks up to. So when he insults him in front of his daughter, he draws the line.
Bang Ho Sik Cuts Ties With Bang Young Ju
Ho Sik meets up with Young Ju's homeroom teacher, and agrees that his daughter should continue her studies.
He also fulfills his daughter's wish: to help her and her family to get an apartment. Even though his heart feels heavy, Ho Sik walks away without looking back at his crying daughter.
Young Ju then asks for an apology, not for choosing to be with Hyeon and her baby but for hurting Ho Sik and making him lonely.
Jung Hyeon Makes It Up To Jung In Kwon
Like Young Ju, Hyeon tries to win his father's trust and affection back. However, it isn't easy as his father is a former thug and a macho man.
However, In Kwon can never deny the fact that he loves his son dearly. So when Hyeon tells how embarrassing he is as a father, his heart shattered into pieces.
Hyeon hugs his father and asks for forgiveness, telling him how much he loves him.
