According to the outlet, Ok Taecyeon's agency, 51K, confirmed that the singer-actor is offered to play the lead character and is currently considering this as his next project.

As fans wait for the announcement if he will officially accept the offer, Ok Taecyeon's new drama will be a team-up with Apink's Jung Eun Ji and Ha Seok Jin.
The singer-actor will be one of the lead stars of OCN's mystery thriller K-drama "Blind."
It depicts the story of ordinary people who become victims of various crimes. Unfortunately, they were treated unjustly after officials turned a blind eye to the case.
Slated to premiere in June, Ok Taecyeon took on the role of violent crimes unit detective Ryu Sung Joon, who shows passion for his work and helping the victims.
As noted by a local outlet, the 2PM member shared his thoughts regarding his new drama as he graced the covers of Star1 magazine.
The 33-year-old South Korean heartthrob went on to describe his character as someone "who is faster with his actions than his words."
Moreover, he said that he would be returning to the small screen with a "serious and heavy vibe" and asked his fans to "please look forward to it."

As for his co-stars, the Apink member will portray Jo Eun Ki, a social who shows compassion to the children; this is because she also experiences the same hardship as these orphans.
Joining the cast as supporting characters are Park Ji Bin from "The Killer's Shopping List" and Jung Eui Wook, who also appeared in "Kingdom: Season 2" and the movie "The Policeman's Lineage."
Helmed by "Voice 4" and "Tunnel" director Shin Yong Hwi, "Blind" is penned by "Andante" screenwriter Kwon Ki Kyung.
Ok Taecyeon's new drama "Blind" is scheduled to premiere in July with 16 episodes via OCN.
The mystery thriller series is his next project after the hit K-drama "Secret Royal Inspector & Joy" with Kim Hye Yoon.
