A slew of new series will be premiering in the coming weeks, which means some K-dramas are bound to air their much-awaited finale.
For the month of May, broadcast networks and stremaing platform delivered show-stopping series, from remakes like "Woori the Virgin," which is based on the 2014 American TV series "Jane the Virgin."
The new drama features Im Soo Hyang, Sung Hoon, Hong Ji Yoon, and Shin Dong Wook as lead stars and has been gaining positive feedback since it premiered.
Another new fan-favorite K-drama is the fantasy series "The Sound of Magic," starring Ji Chang Wook, Hwang In Youp, Choi Sung Eun and more.
Unfortunately, a lot of K-dramas are about to bid goodbye to viewers. With only a few episodes left, these are the series wrapping up this May.
'Tomorrow'
The MBC action fantasy series is set to broadcast its last two episodes this week.
"Tomorrow" which stars SF9 Rowoon, Kim Hye Sun, Lee Soo Hyuk and Yun Ji On transform as Jumadeung's grim reapers.
In the drama, Goo Ryeon (Kim Hee Sun) plays Risk Management team leader whose responsibility is to prevent people from commiting suicide.
Joining her in the team are Im Ryung Goo (Yun Ji On) and their newest member Choi Joon Woong (Rowoon.)
As for Lee Soo Hyuk, he plays the cold-hearted grim reaper Park Joong Gil who is also the rival of Goo Ryeon.
His main responsibility is to guide the souls in the afterlife.

The last two episodes of the weekend K-drama will tell if Choi Joon Woong could still return to the world of the living after he fell unconscious due to the accident, making him half alive and half dead.
"Tomorrow" episode 15 will air on May 20, while "Tomorrow's" finale episode will be on May 21 via MBC and Netflix.
'My Liberation Notes'
The JTBC series defeated the reign of "Our Blues" as the K-drama features the unique love line of Mr. Gu, played by Son Seok Koo, and Yeom Mi Jung, portrayed by Kim Ji Won.
"My Liberation Notes," which also stars Lee min Ki and Lee El, is only left with four episodes until its finale, leaving fans at the edge of their seats.
Viewers get to watch episode 13 on May 21 via JTBC and Netflix.
'Again My Life'
Like the JTBC series "Again My Life" starring Lee Joon Gi will be wrapping up the season on May 28.
Despite the season getting an interesting story in every episode, the mystery crime drama is down to its last two weeks.
"Again My Life" episode 13 is scheduled to broadcast on May 20 through SBS and subtitles via ViuTV, while the last episode will air on May 28.
