Kim Sae Ron made it to the headlines for the wrong reasons after being involved in a car accident. The 21-year-old actress is booked for driving under the influence of alcohol.
Kim Sae Ron's Agency Responds to the Actress' Incident
Following her blood test, Kim Sae Ron's agency, Gold Medalist, released a statement noting that the actress would cooperate in the investigation by the police.
"Kim Sae Ron took a blood test for accurate results, and after the test, she was escorted home by her guardian without additional investigation," the agency said as obtained by YTN, adding, "The results of the blood test will be available in two weeks, and Kim Sae Ron will faithfully respond to the police's questioning afterward."
To recall, the Seoul Gangnam Police Station received calls on May 18 regarding a car accident in a district in Cheongdam in Gangnam, where an SUV owned by "The Great Shaman Ga Doo Shim" star rammed a structure that caused traffic in the area.
Not only was it an inconvenience to the motorist, but Kim Sae Ron's car accident caused a power outage in the area after hitting a transformer box.

While Gold Medalist and the police wait for the result of the blood test and further investigation, the production team behind Netflix's "Hunting Dogs" released a statement regarding the incident.
According to a media outlet, the action noir drama is "currently in the middle of the filming" and there will be adjustments regarding the schedule.
"The shooting schedule will be adjusted, and the public schedule will be announced as soon as it is arranged after a thorough discussion," a representative from the production team shared."
Kim Sae Ron is among the lead stars of the upcoming Netflix series "Hunting Dogs." Joining her are Woo Do Hwan, Park Sung Woong, and "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha" star Lee Sang Yi.

"Hunting Dogs" is directed and written by Kim Joo Hwan, who is the person behind the success of "Midnight Runners" and "The Divine Fury."
Kim Sae Ron Confirmed to Join 'Trolley'
Aside from the Netflix series, she will also headline the cast of SBS' "Trolley."
Kim Sae Ron is joined by a roster of talented stars like Kim Hyun Joo, Park Hee Soon, Kim Mu Yeol, and more.
