'My Liberation Notes' Episode 6: Yeom Mi Jeong and Mr. Gu Grow Closer Together
In episode 6 of "My Liberation Notes," Mi Jeong (Kim Ji Won) and Gi Jeong (Lee El) both head home together, talking about the former's relationship with Mr. Gu (Son Seok Koo).
At work, Mi Jeong sees plane tickets printed by her cliquey colleagues. They're all going to Guam without asking her, but she chooses to shrug it off.
Chang Hee (Lee Min Ki) also experiences difficulties at work as he tries to get on his boss' good side.
However, fate doesn't agree with Chang Hee's plans as his tasks all involve a huge amount of money. He asks his parents for money, but he ends up getting disappointed.
Meanwhile, a drunk Mi Jeong visits Mr. Gu, who's also drinking alone. The two admit that they both hate talking to people, and listening to their gibberish is making them sick.
Ever since their "worship me" incident, the two grew closer. Mr. Gu even warmed up to her, as he acts more human around her, especially when drunk.
Because of worshiping one another, the two characters' lives became lighter. The flirty vibes also made the two thrive for more.
'My Liberation Notes' Episode 7: The Boundary Between Friends and Lovers
Episode 7 begins with a revelation that shocks Mi Jeong's family: she changed her home address. Mi Jeong couldn't come up with any clever reason.
At work, Mi Jeong's The Liberation Club meets the Joy Support Group coordinator, who thankfully enjoys their activities.
He likes how their meeting carries out, even compliments how they are genuine and sincere to one another.
In the next scene, Mr. Gu notices Mi Jeong leaving the bank in the middle of the day, hinting at how she pursued to get a loan.
Her ex-boyfriend who flew with her money refuses to pay her. Her savings are all spent up to pay off their family's debt.
Mr. Gu asks for her ex-boyfriend's name but Mi Jeong refuses, telling him that he should only assist her if she asks for it.

That night, Mi Jeong didn't come to dinner as she's stuck with a huge amount of tasks at work. Mr. Gu then becomes anxious, checking his phone for Mi Jeong's text from time to time.
While she couldn't wait to go home, Mr. Gu surprises her with a visit and sits across the room to cheer her up a little.
Meanwhile, Gi Jeong, who's still in love with her ex-boyfriend, feels her heart and pride shattering to pieces. Chang Hee vows to get a promotion and overcome the biggest hurdle that is called life.
'My Liberation Notes' Episode 9: Mr. Gu's Mysterious Past
In episode 9 of "My Liberation Notes," a glimpse of Mr. Gu's hidden past is shown.
As he was driving back to their quaint village, Mr. Gu is unexpectedly caught by the person he was fleeing from.
Before settling down in the village, Mr. Gu's ex-girlfriend died, and the woman's family believes that Gu Ja Hyeong is the person to blame for her demise.
Because of this, he becomes more sensitive. When Mi Jeong invites him to talk, he reveals the truth about him, even if he feels foolish.
With the rough life Mr. Gu has lived, Mi Jeong gives him an option of ceasing their relationship. Although she admits that it'll be hard for her if Mr. Gu leaves.

'My Liberation Notes' Episode 10: A Crack in Mi Jeong and Mr. Gu's Blooming Romance
The 10th episode of "My Liberation Notes" sheds light to Mr. Gu's mysterious past.
Since his past was revealed, he resorted to alcohol more than ever. In spite of it, he's still grateful for Mi Jeong who didn't leave his side.
As his story unfolds, Chang Hee believes that Mr. Gu is a heaven-sent man and is actually incredibly rich, after learning that the man owns a Royce and a bidet.
However, their relationship also turns sour in the middle of the episode, as Mr. Gu tells Mi Jeong that he doesn't owe her anything.
He pushes her away, admitting that he's a deadman walking. To makes things worse, Mr. Gu is also contemplating to come back to his old life or conquer the world on his own.
At the end of the episode, the time jumps forward to celebrate the new year. Mr. Guy Welcomes the new year at the casino.
As the clock strikes 12 midnight, Mr. Gu heads outside, welcoming the snow that freely falls to the ground as he thinks about Mi Jeong.
