"My Liberation Notes" episode 13 shows a glimpse of Yeom Mi Jeong (Kim Ji Woo) and Mr. Gu's (Son Seok Koo) lives after their heart-wrecking separation.
Mr. Gu is back to business, taking care of the club and other matters he once abandoned in Seoul.
Despite his bustling life, his heart is in Sanpo, which changed his life and perspective. Unlike before, he's not used to the busy setting of Seoul anymore.
Meanwhile, Mi Jeong still finds difficulties at work. She has always been a great designer but because her boss doesn't like her, she couldn't be a permanent employee.

'My Liberation Notes' Episode 14: Mr. Gu Returns To Sanpo
Episode 14 shows how the Yeom siblings cope with their beloved mother's death.
Gi Jeong (Lee El) finally plays the role as the eldest sibling, taking care of meals for the family. But because of their loss, she cries every day.
Chang Hee (Lee Min Ki) previously experienced seeing someone pass away but he still couldn't accept the situation. Meanwhile, Mi Jeong poured her heart out on the funeral day but became silent afterwards.
On the other hand, Gi Jeong desperately asks Tae Hun (Lee Ki Woo) to marry her due to her heightened emotions. Fortunately, her lover says yes.
Chang Hee also asks Hyun Ah (Jeon Hye Jin) to marry him. However, Hyun Ah's sick boyfriend wants them to get married and live happily.
As for Mi Jeong, her heart is divided on whether to tell on her boss who's having an affair with one of the employees behind his wife's back, especially that the affair was named after her.
When she receives a call from his wife, she exposes her boss, resulting in a huge commotion. Two years later, Mr. Gu returns to Sanpo and hears the story of what happened from Mi Jeong's father.
Mr. Gu asks for Mi Jeong's new phone number and he doesn't hesitate to call her. As they talk for the first time in two years, nothing changed between them.
No awkwardness or discomfort, showing how much they missed each other so much, and how long they've waited for this moment to happen.
