KBS' ongoing K-drama "Bloody Heart" starring Lee Joon and Kang Han Na received high viewership ratings on its latest episode.
'Bloody Heart' Episode 8 Sets New High Viewership Rating
Before the second half of the series, "Bloody Heart" made an achievement after its latest episode 8 aired on May 24, it recorded an average rating of 6.6 percent nationwide. It was based on the updated report published by Nielsen Korea.
The drama beat its own rating during its episode broadcast last May 17, which has an average rating of 6.4 percent.
In "Bloody Heart" episode 8, Lee Tae (played by Lee Joon) and Yoo Jung (played by Kan Han Na) shared a passionate kiss amid the chaos happening in the palace. Even though he loves Yoo Jung, he is forced to marry Jo Yeon Hee (played by Choi Ri), who is said to be his concubine.
He was already at Jo Yeon Hee's place to get married, but eventually ran out and started looking for Yoo Jung. Luckily, he saw her standing in the garden. Due to his frustration, he immediately ran to Yoo Jung and kissed her, proving how he really loves the woman.
Even though his heart belongs to Yoo Jung, Lee Tae had to choose Yeon Hee, the daughter of military officer Jo Won Pyo (played by Heo Sung Tae). The arranged marriage will help him strengthen his royal power.

The viewers' emotions were also amplified by the love story between Lee Tae and Yoo Jung. Since the drama is gaining more viewers, its audience is now looking forward to the upcoming episodes and how the story of the main protagonists will unfold. Lee Joon Receives Sweet Present From CNBLUE's Jung Yong Hwa
While the drama continues to gain popularity among viewers, its lead star, Lee Joon is also receiving love and support from his loved ones and fans. In fact, on May 25, Prain TPC, Lee Joon's home agency, made an Instagram update revealing that the idol-actor Jung Yong Hwa sent a coffee truck on the set of "Bloody Heart" production to show his support to real-life friend Lee Joon.
Since the former MBLAQ member has no social media accounts yet, Prain TPC was the one who shared the photos in order to show their gratitude towards Jung Yong Hwa.
