Shim Dal Gi Reveals Honest Thoughts on Working and Appearing in 'Our Blues'
After 10 long weeks, the star-studded melodrama "Our Blues" that brought comfort and resonance to the viewers is finally ready to close its curtains.
Shim Dal Gi is a young actress with unstoppable acting skills. In the drama, she took on the role of the younger version of Lee Jung Eun.
Through "Our Blues," Shim Dal Gi stimulated viewers' excitement as she vividly portrayed the image of a high school student who falls in love for the first time.
When asked why she accepted the role, the young star revealed that her eagerness to portray Jung Eun Hui sprung up which forced her to say yes to the production team.
"I knew it would be really fun filming since I was working with actors my age," Shim Dal Gi stated.

She added, "Acting with them, especially Kim Jae Won, who played the younger version of Cha Seung Won, made me feel more passionate about the drama."
Shim Dal Gi Admits Feeling Grateful To Lee Jung Eun, Cha Seung Won
"Our Blues" follows a non-linear narrative where the past and present time were mixed together in the same space.
Because of this, Shim Dal Gi was able to see Lee Jung Eun and Cha Seung Won on the set, whom the actress looks up to.
"Thanks to that opportunity, I got a hint about the character I am portraying," Shim Dal Gi shared. "The scenes also helped me enhance intricate things like expressions, body languages and emotions."
As for her most unforgettable moment in the drama, she chose the scene where Jung Eun Hui confessed her feelings for Choi Han Su, and kissed him without hesitation.

"It was a fun, dynamic scene in the script," Shim Dal Gi said. "To be honest, it was a nerve-wracking shoot because it was an important scene that had to be executed well."
Shim Dal Gi confessed that she had inhibitions during the scene, but thanks to Kim Jae Won, the actress didn't experience much difficulties and even performed well in front of the camera.
The rising star concluded by expressing her gratitude to everyone who supported "Our Blues" from the very beginning.
"To the director, writer, production unit and actors who helped me a lot, thank you so much," Shim Dal Gi added.
Shim Dal Gi promises to meet the public once again with greater work in the future. With that said, she is focused on her new musical movie "Life Is Beautiful" and Disney+ series "Moving," which will be released in the second half of 2022.
