Netflix added another blockbuster movie set to return for a sequel.
The streaming giant officially announced that viewers will get to see "Believer 2" featuring a star-studded cast lineup.
Interestingly, the upcoming sequel will also showcase a new and returning cast starting with Cha Seung Won.
Cha Seung Won and More to Headline 'Believer 2'
On Netflix's Instagram, the streaming giant introduced the cast members who will headline "Believer 2."
Cha Seung Won will return as Brian Lee alongside Lee Joo Young, and Jo Jin Woong who also appeared in the original movie.
Joining the trio are new cast members starring Han Hyo Joo who is set to play a new character and knows the truth about Cha Seung Won's character.
Adding to the list of the "Believer 2" cast is Kim Dong Young while Oh Seung Hoon is said to replace Ryu Jun Yeol.
Initially penned and directed by Lee Hae Young of "The Silenced," the upcoming sequel is helmed by "The Beauty Inside" director Baek Jong Yeol.
He is expected to give the highly anticipated sequel a new and cinematic touch from the original film.

Moreover, Netflix also hints at what to expect in the forthcoming sequel.
"The tough guys chasing the reality of Asia's biggest drug ring," the caption reads. Additionally, it says, "'Believer' will come back stronger with a lineup that has a strong narrative, only on Netflix."
Will 'Believer 2' Surpass the Achievement of the 2018 Movie?
To recall, the action thriller crime film was released in May 2018 and was among the blockbuster movies at the time.
"Believer" mobilized 5,063,620 audiences since its theatrical release.
It follows the story of Detective Won Ho's hunt to find the biggest drug ring in South Korea led by Mr. Lee and years later, the duo is set to continue their never-ending journey alongside new characters.
For the cast, this will be Cha Seung Won's next project after his smash hit Kdrama "Our Blues" with Lee Jung Eun, Lee Byung Hoon, Shin Min Ah and more.
In addition, "Believer 2" will also be his next project after the box office hit film "Sinkhole" with Lee Kwang Soo.
Meanwhile, the upcoming sequel will be among Jo Jin Woong's slew of projects this 2022.
Aside from "The Policeman's Lineage" with Choi Woo Shik, the versatile actor will also headline the action film "The Devil's Deal" and "Dead Man" opposite Kimm Hee Ae.
Adding to the list of his upcoming activities is being in talks to join the cast of the drama movie "Boys" with a cameo appearance and a forthcoming historical drama movie "Mongyudowondo."
Like Jo Jin Woong, Han Hyo Joo will also be booked and busy in the coming year.
Aside from "believer 2," she will also appear in the webtoon-based Kdrama "Moving" and special participation in "20th Century Girl" with Kim Yoo Joong and Byeon Woo Seok.
