Korean dramas "Tomorrow," "My Liberation Notes," and more may have failed to receive high viewership ratings, but they left a deep impression on the viewers for they are beautifully written.
'Tomorrow'
"Tomorrow" is a fantasy K-drama that showcases the distressing situations in modern society. It centers its story on the formation of the crisis team by the gods of death to save individuals on the verge of ending their lives.
The drama started strong with an 8.9 percent rating on its pilot episode but continued to record low ratings in the preceding episodes and only had a 3.4 percent viewership rating in the finale episode.

However, despite its ratings, this Netflix drama was able to touch the viewers' hearts with its beautifully-written stories and life lessons.
'My Liberation Notes'
Son Seok Ko, Kim Ji Won, Lee Min Ki, and Lee El warmed the viewers' hearts with their stories. "My Liberation Notes" is a healing series but which is said to have a slow and boring transition. It follows the story of three siblings who strive hard to escape their dull life.
During its first episode broadcasts, the JTBC drama did not gain much attention from the public, but thanks to its amazing plot, "My Liberation Notes" immediately became the talk of the town in just a few weeks and received praises from the audience.
'Our Beloved Summer'
"Our Beloved Summer," starring Choi Woo Sik and Kim Da Mi, depicts the story of two people who considered each other as first love. After years of being apart, their path crosses again, and they discover that they still have feelings for each other.
Though it starred two of the hottest names in the industry, the series failed to earn high ratings.
However, viewers began to invest more time watching the drama as they were hooked on its simple and realistic concept that others can easily relate to. Plus, the overflowing chemistry of Kim Da Mi and Choi Woo Sik added more value to the series' overall impact.
'Bloody Heart'
KBS's historical-romance drama "Bloody Heart" follows the story of emperor Lee Tae (Lee Joon) who is determined to become the next king. He had to go through lots of challenges in life in order to achieve his goal. He then meets Yoo Jung (Kang Han Na), the woman he wants to spend the rest of his life with, and is willing to make sacrifices for their forbidden relationship.
Despite having low ratings during its first four episodes, "Bloody Heart" was able to captivate the audience's attention and recorded a high viewership of 6 percent rating during episode 6. Thanks to Yoo Jung and Lee Tae's love story and the cast's performance, the drama has now recorded a rating of 8.9 percent during the latest episode.
