Following the success of "The Witch: Part 1. The Subversion," the supernatural movie got renewed through "The Witch: Part 2. The Other One."

Released on June 15, the sequel is currently dominating the top spot at the Korean box office with over 1 million unique viewers since its premiere.

It is safe to say that the second installment will hit 2 million in no time as the film sustains its reign at the box office.

"The Witch: Part 2. The Other One" stars rookie actress Shin Shi Ah alongside Park Eun Bin and Jo Min Soo, who reprised her role.

For the second installment, it follows the story of a girl (refered to as "Girl") who escaped from a secret laboratory and accidentally met Kyung Hee, played by Park Eun Bin.

From then on, Kyung Hee tries to protect the Girl from criminal gangs but personally witnesses her overwhelming power as she does.

"The Witch: Part 2. The Other One" stimulates the viewer's curiosity regarding the true identity of the Girl and the reason behind her strength.

The sequel comes four years after "The Witch: Part 1. The Subversion," which was released in 2018. Some actors reprisd their roles, while other actors joined the cast to introduce fresh faces to the viewers.

While "The Witch: Part 2. The Other One" continues its success, here is a look back at the "The Witch: Part 1. The Subversion" cast with their current and upcoming projects this 2022.

Playing the role of the mysterious girl Ko Ja Yun, who escaped from a facility, is Kim Da Mi. She earned a lot of praise for her portrayal in "The Witch: Part 1. The Subversion."

Interestingly, this is her first-ever main role since she debuted in 2017.

After her big break on the big screen, she became well known to K-drama fans after she took on the role of Jo Yi Seo in "Itaewon Class" and teamed up with Park Seo Joon.

From then on, she continued her popularity in another smash hit series, "Our Beloved Summer," where she reunited with her "The Witch: Part 1. The Subversion" co-star Choi Woo Shik.

Now, she is in talks to star in two movies. First is "Soul Mate," which was based on a short story.

The other is for the sci-fi movie "The Great Flood," helmed by "Take Point" director Kim Byung Woo.

The 57-year-old star plays Dr. Baek, who also made a comeback in the sequel.

"The Witch: Part 2. The Other One" is her return to the big screen after two years since the comedy movie "Jazzy Misfits" was released.

The versatile star recently made waves after landing the role of a syndicate boss in Netflix's "My Name."

From then, he also headlined his comeback movie "The Policeman's Lineage" with Choi Woo Shik and is set to join three upcoming K-dramas.

This includes SBS' "Trolley," followed by a thriller crime series "A Model Family," and a supporting role in "Moving."

As mentioned, Choi Woo Shik is among the lead cast of "The Witch: Part 1. The Subversion."

After starring in the mega-hit Kdrama "Our Beloved Summer," he is returning for the series "Murder DIEary" with Son Seok Koo.

The upcoming webtoon-based series will be launched via Netflix.
