'Yumi's Cells 2' Episode 8 Highlights: Yoo Babi is Yoo Da Eun's Office Crush
The eight episodes of "Yumi's Cells 2" illustrate the background of Yoo Da Eun, the intern at Daehan Noodle's Jeju branch where Yoo Babi served as their team leader.
In "Yumi's Cells 2" episode 8, it revealed how Yoo Babi caught Yoo Da Eun's attention. It started when she first met Babi during the intern's introduction to the employees. At the time, she thought that manager Yoo was quite handsome.
It was then followed by an infatuation with how he was so passionate about work and Babi's undying charisma.

From then on, she was excited to go to work because of her boss; unfortunately, she discovered that he was taken, making her feel heartbroken.
Kim Yumi Meets Editor-in-Chief Kang Hyo Jin
Aside from Yoo Babi, Kim Yumi also had the same situation at her new job.
To recall, Yumi got a call from a publishing editor noting that they wanted to release her story.
In "Yumi's Cells 2" episode 8, Yumi met editor-in-chief Kang Hyo Jin who instantly fell in love with Yumi right then and there. However, it wasn't the first time he saw her since they both attended one class in writing.
During the interview, Kang Hyo Jin was kind of awkward with Yumi; however, on her side, she felt like he was a cold person, expressing no warmth or excitement working alongside her.
On her submission for the draft of her story, Kim Yumi was asked to repeat the whole thing. Initially, Rampage cell wanted to throw a fit but Yumi decided not to be emotional about it. Hence, she just agreed to the editor-in-chief's instruction and spent the whole weekend re-doing her story.
Surprisingly, as she was about to start her task, she received a box of donuts. It was sent by Kang Hyo Jin who felt bad that he asked Yumi to re-submit her work.
At the time, she was talking to Yoo Babi, who sensed something was odd with her boss' actions. He admitted that he felt jealous but Yumi made sure that it was only a boss and employee relationship.
The next day, Yumi submitted her work and the editor-in-chief was happy about her output. With this, they celebrated alongside his assistant to mark Yumi's collaboration with the company.
At the restaurant, he tried to get to know Yumi through her social media. Unfortunately, he learned that Yumi had a boyfriend and his whole family was crushed.
Here, he accepted that Yumi will be his writer and not more than that.
Yoo Babi Learns About Yoo Da Eun's Feelings
In the last scene, Yoo Babi mentioned to Yumi that their intern Yoo Da Eun is leaving the company and will be working in Busan. On his way to work, he saw Da Eun and wished her good luck with her new work.
Meanwhile, the intern took the plunge and mentioned her office crush. She didn't drop the name, but Yoo Babi knew it was him who she is describing.
Yoo Babi's cells felt an earthquake, which means that he felt something after Da Eun's confession.
Will this affect his relationship with Yumi?
