'Alchemy of Souls' Episode 7: The Mirror of Illusions
Previously, Mu Deok (Jung So Min) was stuck in Jinwoyon, the place where relics and artifacts lie. It is a dangerous place not fit to house humans, as the great energy of ice stone protects it.
In "Alchemy of Souls" episode 7, Jang Uk (Lee Jae Wook), Seo Yul (Hwang Minhyun) and Crown Prince Go Won (Shin Seung Ho) order entrance to Jinyowon after an illusion of Mu Deok visit them.
It turns out Mu Deok was stuck inside the Mirror of Longing, in which the illusions show up to the people longing for the person trapped inside it.
Mu Deok breaks the mirror with the small amount of power she possesses. Only the Jin family could open the place, and because of this, Jin Cho Yeon (Oh My Girl Arin) grows suspicious as to how the former opened Jinyowon.

Meanwhile, Jin Mu (Jo Jae Yoon) suggests marrying Jin Cho Yeon off to the Crown Prince instead of Jang Uk, in order to gain more power.
Little does everyone know, Jin Mu is the biggest traitor in Daeho as she is connected to the Shadow Assassin Naksu.
Mu Deok's True Identity Revealed
In episode 7, Seo Yul's suspicions turn out to be true as he confirms that Mu Deok and Naksu are the same people.
As he processes this news, he thinks of what to do. On the other hand, another person learns about the truth behind Mu Deok's identity.
Gil Ju (Choi Ji Ho), Jin Mu's right hand man, confronts her and strikes a deal with her to save her life.
He wants Mu Deok to bring Jang Uk to an empty temple and exchange their souls to gain more power.
Mu Deok's Biggest Ordeal: To Get Her Life Back or To Stay With Jang Uk
Mu Deok sees herself in a crossroad, especially when Jang Uk decides that they should stay faithful and dutiful to one another.
Jang Uk even gives her a piece of jade, the same stone that Jin Cho Yeon broke, as a sign of his faithfulness. Because of this, Mu Deok reveals the truth to Jang Uk. However, the latter comes up with a plan to fool Gil Ju.
When the rain pours, Jang Uk shows up to the empty temple and uses his power to master Tansu, the most powerful technique that can bring any enemy down.
Though he successfully took Gil Ju down, the man conjures his powers and uses the alchemy of souls, determined to switch souls with Jang Uk.
