Actor Kim Woo Bin has been gaining attention for his dark and complicated character Choi Young Do in the drama "The Heirs", but because of his memorable portrayal, fans are also taking an interest in his past dramas.
He has projected an image of an actor who does his job diligently and excellently through some of his earlier roles. He was seen in the MBN sitcom "Vampire Idol" and SBS drama "To The Beautiful You" with gentle and comfortable characters, but he had an image shift with his roles in "A Gentleman's Dignity" and "The Heirs" because of his intense and bad boy portrayals.
During his interview for the magazine The Celebrity, he was asked about his opinion on portraying characters with intense and dark personalities, to which he answered, "I'm just really grateful that there are roles that I can do. But it's true that my appearance that is far from being flower boy-like has a lot of influence on the roles that are offered to me."
On the similarities of acting and modeling, he said, "There are no similarities, but for anything that you do, you should always work hard and give your best after giving it much thought. After gaining a lot of experience, I wish to be someone whose acting gives of a sense of humanity that makes people feel the sincerity."
