Another tvN masterpiece, "Flower of Evil," is getting a foreign remake! Actors Gulshan Devaiah and Drashti Dhami are confirmed to headline the Indian remake of the famous Korean drama, which starred Lee Joon Gi and Moon Chae Won.

'Flower of Evil' Confirms Indian Remake, To Air on THIS Date
tvN's mystery-romance drama "Flower of Evil," which stars brilliant actors Lee Joon Gi and Moon Chae Won, is confirmed to have an Indian Remake.
Studio Dragon, the production company which handled the Korean version announced on August 17 that the Indian remake titled "Duranga" will officially begin airing on August 19.
The Indian title means "the two shadows of lies." In addition, the nine episodes of the Indian adaptation will be available through ZEE5, one of India's biggest platforms.
Upon the confirmation of the remake, ZEE5 released a statement, saying:
"The inherent alikeness between Korea and India having vibrant Asian cultures is enough for Korean content to have a vast fan base in India. We are pleased to be the first among India's OTT industry to take on remaking Korean content, which was possible thanks to the worldwide popularity of 'Flower of Evil.'"

The story revolves around a man who lives under a fictitious identity to hide his past. His detective wife starts to suspect him, and the two are forced to confront a dark truth they never wanted to experience.
Who Will Portray Lee Joon Gi & Moon Chae Won's Roles?
For the upcoming Indian adaptation, Lee Joon Gi's role will be played by actor Gulshan Devaiah, and actress Drashti Dhami takes the character of Moon Chae Won.
The series is composed of creative heads, namely Pradeep Sarkar, Aijaz Khan, Goldie Behl, and Shradha Singh, who teamed up to bring another masterpiece to the Indian audience.
Apart from the two, the drama will also bring-to the screen actors Rajesh Khattar, Divya Sheth, Barkha Bisht, Zakir Hussain, Hera Mishra, and Abhijit Khandkekar.

According to India Times, the romance K-drama "Something in the Rain," which starred Son Ye Jin and Jung Hae In, will also have an Indian adaptation.
India is not the only country to have a remake of the famous K-drama, "Flower of Evil." In fact, there is also a Philippine adaptation of the series, which already aired in the said country last June. The Philippine remake is led by two prominent Filipino actors Piolo Pascual and Lovi Poe.
