'The Law Cafe' Episode 2: Kim Jeong Ho and Kim Yu Ri's Painful Past
The episode 2 of the drama begins with two truths: Kim Jeong Ho (Lee Seung Gi) had been in love with Kim Yu Ri (Lee Se Young) since their first meeting, and she's also the reason why he was miserable.
For 17 years, he kept his feelings for the latter to avoid hurting one another. However, things become awry as their paths cross each other once again.
In the latest episode, Kim Yu Ri agrees with his demands and in return, he will allow the former to open her shop in his building.
Kim Yu Ri even hired a barista named Seo Eun Gang (Ahn Dong Goo), and they are impressed with their talents and skills in brewing coffee.
But it wasn't the reason why he was hired. The truth is, he was an ex-convict who has a long history with Kim Yu Ri. Kim Jeong Ho warns her that he will terminate the contract if drastic things happen inside his building.
Kim Jeong Ho Grows Jealous Over His Ex's New Flame
Customers swarmed the cafe during its opening, signaling a great beginning for her new business. Later that day, Park Woo Jin (Kim Nam Hee) accompanied Kim Yu Ri to the hospital to visit a patient.

With their closeness, Kim Jeong Ho grows insecure and tags along. Despite hiding his jealousy, Kim Yu Ri sees right through him.
The Ties That Bind Kim Jeong Ho and Kim Yu Ri
Although they are schoolmates even before law school, the relationship between Kim Jeong Ho and Kim Yu Ri is tighter than anyone could imagine.
It was revealed that the apartment she lives in, which is owned by Kim Jeong Ho, was built by Dohan Construction-the same company that made Kim Yu Ri's life a living hell.
She decides to file a damage claim against the company but Kim Jeong Ho tells her not to be too emotional.
In addition to that, it was revealed that Kim Jeong Ho's father was the prosecutor that failed to prove Kim Yu Ri's father's innocence, giving a glimpse of the deeper connection the two share.
The Reason Why Kim Jeong Ho Quits
Unbeknownst to Kim Yu Ri, Kim Jeong Ho also knows the truth. Because he was disgusted by his father's wrongdoings regarding Kim Yu Ri's father's case, he decided to quit the firm.
At present, Kim Jeong Ho leads his own investigation on the Dohan Construction and its connection with Kim Yu Ri's father.
